The Chase Jarvis LIVE Show

Do you have 12 minutes a day?

That’s all that my guest asks of you to make your life more fulfilled. I was super excited to have Dr. Amishi Jha on the show because she provides a detailed how-to in her extraordinary book Peak Mind. This bestseller is a brilliant guide to train our attention with mindful awareness and maximize our human potential.

Meditation, mindfulness, and attention are personal passions of mine. My wife is a meditation, mindfulness, and attention teacher and I’ve found some of the most profound growth through these practices.

Today, Amishi is part of a new scientific field, contemplative neuroscience. Her pioneering work on mindfulness and attention is currently in use by organizations like the U.S. military and New Zealand Defense Force, professional sports teams, medical schools, and businesses.

Her book is incredible—it is very practical and provides a training recipe for 12 minutes every day. I’m such a believer in everything Amishi espouses because it’s what I want. It’s available to all of us. Can you fit this into your life for 12 minutes a day?

Enjoy!

The second question addressed in this episode comes from a photography brand owner named Marcus who is transitioning into a new phase of his professional creative journey; teaching and mentoring. With an obvious knack for his craft, Marcus has found success with his business while he's behind the wheel. But teaching others to do the job requires a different set of skills.
