#AskDan: Let's have some empathy
04/10/20 • 10 min
I think I've finally cracked. I've had enough of this 'toxic positivity'. You must have seen it: 'If you don't come out of this lockdown having learned a new skill you didn't lack time, you lacked discipline'.
Where's the empathy? Why do we always have to be 'learning a new skill'? What about people who have lost their jobs, or trying to work at home with the kids about... or just miss the freedom of grabbing a 'real world coffee'?
So if you do learn a new skill, that's great. Love it. But please don't feel like you're failing if you don't. Who needs that kind of pressure!

Work-life integration, with Agnes Uhereczky
In this episode I’m joined by the Co-founder of WorkLife Hub, Agnes Uhereczky. We talk about the importance of work-life integration, the anxiety of life under lockdown, and how some work personas are dealing with working from home better than others.
One of the topics that Agnes is so knowledgeable about, and is really interesting, is the 4 different work personas that exist... and how they differ with mandated working from home. Some great food for thought that I've taken away.
Agnes also covers a burning question: is this the end of working from home?
