David Wylie of the oz joins me each week to discuss the latest on This Week in Cannabis News. Things happen fast in the still developing cannabis industry and we’ll bring you the top stories. We took a trip around the world and came back to Canada for a few stories this week. Mexico is doing the legalization dance once again, will it go smoother this time around and you might be surprised what some polls have showed about the thirst for legalization. Curaleaf is going global and looking forward to the European legalization market when it happens. Closer to home there is a push back on how the tax system works in the cannabis space, as it's clearly broken, while the pot pardons that were projected pre legalization haven't even come close to happening, as the process is extremely long and in some cases costly. Malka Labell of the Green Generation Co brings the latest bud-biz-buzz on The Business of Cannabis. We discuss latest the latest innovations, regulations and anything else making some bud-biz-buzz. This week it was all about packaging. Are people really avoiding the legal market because of packaging? I find that hard to believe, but there does need to be more work on packaging and labelling. It is getting better, but still a long way to go. We also put the spotlight on companies who are doing a good job in Game Changers and in What it Means to be Green, Plantlife gets a shout out for their take home bags. I love chatting with artists about their cannabis use when it comes to their craft. I can't wait to discuss cannabis and acting with someone.
