Over the past 8 years, I've probably attended over 60 live seminars. I've spoken at many of them, but not most of them. The reason I often travel long distances and spend time in expensive hotels, is because the networking that I do at seminars is how I set up most of the joint ventures that I do. Last August, I went on the Social Media By The Sea Cruise, and discovered that cruising is an even better environment for networking. Spending 5-7 days on a ship where you interact with others in your industry, day after day, in a variety of setting from fancy dress up meals, to shore excursions, to lounging in the hot tub, to taking in a comedy show, to watching a movie on a huge screen underneath the starts, to singing or dancing at a night club, to sitting at the blackjack table... you get the idea.
