The Body, Brain & Soul Podcast

Welcome to the Mama Brain Podcast!
In this episode I'm joined by my special guest Meg Muise. We discuss the life-changing experience Meg had with her firstborn that sent her on a trajectory from building businesses to creating a lifestyle that prioritizes raising and educating her children, and homesteading, (while still running multiple successful businesses).
I love Meg's truthful, authentic, down-to-Earth nature, her humour and the wisdom she shares about what it takes to be a modern day Mama.
If you find yourself considering a different path for yourself as a Mom - perhaps you're curious about homeschooling, or simply want to experience the slow, purposeful life Meg talks about, then you'll want to jump into this episode for inspiration.
Meg is a homeschooling Mom of 3 little ones aged 7, 5 and 1. She's the co-founder of two local business RIPE Juicery and Nour.ish.
A homebody at heart, Meg spends her days with her husband and littles, gardening, raising their chickens & cooking. She's about health, wellness, oat milk lattes and outdoor adventures.
You can find Meg on Instagram at @a_nourishedlife and check out her businesses @ripejuicery and @nour.ishthefuture
If you enjoy this episode or think it might resonate with someone in your life, I invite you to share it, follow the show and become a part of the Mama Brain community.
I'd love to see you over on Instagram - you can find me at @coachsarahmac - come on over and say Hi!

3 steps to transforming through challenge

Welcome to the Mama Brain Podcast!
In this episode I share with you the 3 steps I took to support myself through the space of grief, challenge and change and come out the other side more connected to my authenticity, more present in my mothering and even creating something exciting in my business.
If you're experiencing any of these things, here are the 3 things I offer:
1. Create a regular nervous system healing practice in your life. It doesn't have to be complicated. I recommend Sarah Tacy, who is the practitioner supporting the Relaxed Money Program (with Kate Northrup). You can find Sarah at https://sarahtacy.com
2. Connect to your vision & values. I highly recommend creating a daily embodied experience for your desired vision. I do this through a 5 senses visualization and my own personal meditation practice. If all of this is new to you, you can simply imagine your desired vision, connecting to how it looks & feels as you fall asleep at night.
3. Create small, simple, doable actions that you can perform consistently. Notice the gap between where you are now and your desired vision, and then break down pieces of that vision into the smallest, doable action. One of my examples was committing to exercise just 15 minutes a day, 4 times per week. Since my desired vision is to be healthy, vibrant and strong, I knew I needed to create a commitment around my own health that I could do, even on my the most challenging days.
I'm also excited to introduce my new Signature Program, From Surviving to Thriving! This 12-week program will be launching it's beta this fall. If you'd like to be notified of founding member enrolment or be placed on the waitlist, please email me at [email protected] with the subject line THRIVE!
If this episode resonated with you, I invite you to share it with someone you know who may also take something away and into their life.
Keep smiling~
Sarah
