Episode 56 – Clearing the decks before the year’s end
11/28/24 • 16 min
In this episode of The Bloom-Print Podcast, we’re tackling the whirlwind that is the end of the year! Are you feeling like a horse racing to the finish line or spinning in the chaos of carnival cups?
In this episode, I’m sharing how I’m resetting before the chaos of December hits. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the year’s end, I’ll walk you through the simple steps I’ve taken to declutter my life—both personally and in business—to make space for a fresh start in 2025.
Here’s what I cover:
- Clearing out digital clutter like inboxes, desktops, and camera rolls to free up mental space.
- Wrapping up lingering tasks like inquiries and financial reviews for a clean slate.
- Prepping for the new year by refining systems, processes, and content calendars.
If you’re ready to find some brain space and start your own end-of-year reset, this one’s for you!

Episode 55 - I took a break in peak season
Last week I just took myself for a 2 night hotel stay ... by myself! I know, What a bloody boujie b*tch!
2 weeks ago I was starting to lose it a bit with the kids, my husband Mark was away for work, my 2 year old was going through a developmental leap and waking 3 times a night, my daughter was really pushing the boundaries, probably because she wanted my attention and work was non-stop. And there were a few unforeseen problems I needed to solve that were taking a bit of my attention.
A fortnight ago I felt tired and cranky and scattered and foggy and like I was going through the motions and as you might have guessed from the title of this episode – I don’t feel like that anymore because – controversially – I took a break in the middle of peak season.
In this episode I'm sharing the importance of making space for yourself, gaining clarity and rest to put your best self forward in all aspects of your life.

Episode 57 - A little bit of growth
Hey, lovely! In this episode, I’m sharing all about my whirlwind trip to Broome, where I spent two incredible days with Jemma and Tash from The Broome Florist at the end of November. These two are gearing up for their first wedding season, and I had the absolute joy of helping them build their skills, plan their logistics, and create stunning marketing content with a gorgeous photoshoot on the beach (yes, it was as magical as it sounds!).
We covered everything from bouquet-making (Tash went from dreading bouquets to absolutely loving them!) to navigating the unique challenges of running a floral business in a regional area. Having grown up in the Northern Territory and North West WA, this trip brought back so many memories and gave me a fresh perspective on just how far I’ve come in my business landing at a completely auspicious time.
This episode is a celebration of growth, mindset shifts, and what’s possible when you step outside your comfort zone. Whether you’re one year or five years into your business journey, I want you to know how much can change when you open yourself up to new opportunities.
If you’re ready to make 2025 your year, I’d absolutely love to support you. Check out my Bloom-Print Membership for group coaching, self-paced lessons, and monthly mastermind sessions.
