Ep 5 - Hannah Bennett
01/17/24 • 69 min
This week I got to speak to the lovely Hannah. She told me about her first birth with her son Alexander, which resulted in a c-section under general anesthetic. Because of this she had birth trauma, and she tells us how she dealt with this and managed to be ready for birth again with a second baby. Hannah went for a VBAC and that is exactly what she got. She found the experience of birthing her daughter extremely healing, and it is just beautiful to hear. Cant wait for you all to hear this one!

This week I had the pleasure of speaking with the lovely natalie. We cover some really heartbreaking topics, from unexplained fertility issues, to losing her son at 25 weeks and the heartbreak that came with that. As well the help she received to cope with her PTSD. Also her twin pregnancy and birth and suffering with ketoacidosis.

Ep 6 - Emily Mitchell
Emily is one of my closest friends and we just so happened to fall pregnant 3 months apart. It has been so special navigating pregnancy and motherhood together. If you don’t have many other mum friends; join the baby groups, go to NCT classes, download the peanut app! It is one of the most valuable things a new mum can do ♥️
Emily did a hypnobirthing course and lots of research around birth. This really helped form her preferences and help her manage pain throughout labour. It’s a goodie, can’t wait for you to hear.
