Chad Howse is the author of the Man Diet, a book created to help guys get to the root of their quest to build stronger, better, healthier, and more energetic bodies, naturally optimizing their testosterone levels. That book led to another root obstacle: discipline. In the Lost Art of Discipline Chad gets to the bottom of what stands between us and our biggest goals; discipline, how to live with more of it and enjoy its benefits.
Today’s conversation is a little bit different. I sit down with Chad Howse for the second time.
The first time, we talked a lot about being “Alpha”, building muscle, and designing an epic life. But after doing this over and over again with hundreds of clients and following up with them, seeing what was working long-term and what wasn’t, Chad discovered that there was one thing that was holding most people back. And it had nothing to do with what was going on in his program.
It has to do with what’s going on between our ears.
In this episode of The Biohacking Secrets Show, Chad and I discuss the differences and intersections between discipline, strategy, talent, and implementation. We talk about following our emotional desires for instant gratification and how that can get in the way of long term happiness.
