Saved by the Bell's Haskiri Velazquez Experiences Kindness From Auditions to Set

Happy Thanksgiving (and birthday to my mom)! We're grateful for actress Haskiri Velazquez, who talks her hit Peacock show Saved by the Bell, self-care and kindness on set, the importance of having a routine and more.
Growing up in a low-income area of Washington Heights, NY, Haskiri found her passion for entertaining at a young age. Though she had no connection or resources to follow those dreams, she had a strong belief in herself and support from a local nonprofit. Haskiri is now a working actress recently seen in Netflix's award-winning film The 40-Year-Old Version, which premiered at Sundance to rave reviews. She's most known for currently starring as Daisy in Peacock's hit reboot of Saved by the Bell, which is back for season two this week.
We of course discuss the hit show, her dreams of starting a nonprofit, and tons of topics under the kindness umbrellas. Haskiri and I actually share an agent so I've had the privilege of speaking with her before and I'm always struck by the kindness she inherently exudes.
