Who am I?

Hi there! I'm Robert Peterpaul an actor, writer and podcaster with a passion for storytelling and spreading kindness. I discovered my love for the arts at a young age, spending my childhood putting on shows in my living room (fake tickets and all) and getting lost in the aisles of Blockbuster. At age 9, I made my Off-Broadway debut at the York Theatre and from there was cast in the Broadway musical SEUSSICAL. I have been working in the TV/Film and theatre space ever since, being named "Connecticut's BEST ACTOR" by BroadwayWorld along the way. Some recent highlights include: CBS' BULL, Netflix's KING COBRA, SONY's WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT, NEWSIES at the Westport Country Playhouse and the Amazon feature film SITTING IN BARS WITH CAKE. After working in the entertainment news space, I have also found so much joy in the wonderful world of podcasting. I hope The Art of Kindness brings you joy, too! Theatre people are my people! And if they're yours too - check out these bright and shiny podcasts that center on all things Broadway.

Backstage Talk, hosted by Colombian performing artist Martín Acuña, features the voices of those entertainment professionals who are backstage, not under the spotlight. We amplify those who create the shows we love: ensemble and company performers, producers, teachers, writers, stage managers, directors, and more, while also trying to bridge the gap between Colombia’s Musical Theatre Industry and Broadway. Made by someone who lives and breathes Musical Theatre, this podcast untangles what someone needs and what it takes to get to Broadway. Instagram: @backstagetalkpod
