Today we're sitting down with Dr. Latt Mansor and chatting all things ketones, preventing metabolic disease, and overall health in general. Dr. Mansor is very highly educated; holding a PhD in physiology, anatomy, and genetics from the University of Oxford, a master's degree from Columbia, and a bachelor's degree in biotechnology from the University of Nottingham. He is a world expert in physiology and metabolism, and consults with elite sport, clinical, and research organizations.
We start the conversation by asking Dr. Mansor to explain how he ended up where he is today, and he shares such an incredible story regarding his own personal fitness journey, which led to his research with metabolic diseases. We dive into the science of ketones and even experience the benefits ourselves, as we took a ketone shot before we started recording!
Dr. Mansor provides lifestyle adjustments that can help prevent diagnoses such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, along with some helpful mindset tools as well. We even chat a bit about what to look for when it comes to research and understanding the literature. We wrap up with a bit of life philosophy and how every single piece of our health journey matters - physically and mentally.
