In this episode of Tech Intersect, I welcome attorney Dave Rodman to the show. Dave founded the Rodman Law Group in 2014 in response to what he saw as a lack of sophisticated corporate/business law firms serving the cannabis industry because most dealt only on the criminal side and defense work. From that moment he found his own lane, in fact her created it. And he has been tirelessly advocating for his clients, pushing for more equitable and transparent industry regulations, and facilitating complex multinational transactions ever since.
Dave's unique background in finance, securities, intellectual property, and corporate law has given him an incredibly diverse set of tools to deploy on behalf of his clients, tools that allow him to craft solutions to each client’s specific legal, business, and regulatory needs. And he definitely does not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to the law. He is one of the only lawyers in the world with active clients in both the cannabis and cryptocurrency/blockchain markets. And at the end of this episode, we touch on decentralized autonomous organizations, NFTs and securities. This legal eagle episode packs a punch and you’ll surely learn something new. I know I did!
