Sarah Burgamy, Psy.D, is the founder of Denver-based PhoenixRISE, a private practice with specialty offerings in identity development, sexual minority competency as well as transgender and gender diversity issues. Sarah's talk focuses on gender identity, beyond the binary system of woman/man, girl/boy. Drawing on the history of the Stonewall Riots in 1969, Sarah explores how we can uniquely frame how our gender “regime” may be toppling in a new era.
