Johnny talks about his own mental health struggles and how this also contributed to his ideas for the brand - Raising mental health awareness, anti bullying partnership and offering a grant scheme to help out families that may be struggling financially. In this quick podcast announcement as you may have seen on social media i am re-focussing the podcast to ensure it stays in keeping with fatherhood, parenting and mental health awareness. Sharing my fatherhood journey, family life and chatting with other dads about their experiences, the more we talk about these subjects the easier it becomes for others to also talk.

Going forward any alternative or miscellaneous content that is not in keeping with the above such as music chats or whiskey tasting etc will now take place on the new youtube channel Jamie's man cave. This way the dad chats remain the focus of the podcast.

A solo episode where i talk through the build up to, day of and take away from the little ones first birthday party. Which we ( my wife ) decided she wanted at home, this has become somewhat of a tradition along with a few other family traditions i have unknowingly entered into - What are some of your family traditions? deliberate or accidental traditions that have stuck.

I talk through some of the DIY and preparations for the house and garden to facilitate a party at home.

I am going to try and start bringing some of the shorter episodes, covering parts of my fatherhood journey, family life, parenting tips or even just a family day out review etc
