In this debut episode, Michael explains the theme of the show and what it means to take back our mind. So what is the mind? The mind is a set of programs impacted by and conditioned through our parents and family dynamics, society, civil and social culture, the media, social media, etc,. which tends to shape our perceptions, thoughts, beliefs, emotions, world view, and our experiences. Oftentimes, these thoughts and emotions are repetitive, and have a tendency to be rooted in fear, worry, doubt, shame, and guilt. So to take back the mind means to break free from the present formation of these thought-forms through being dedicated to the spiritual awakening to our Real Self that is emerging and embracing the next great vision and version of ourselves.
Each week, Take Back Your Mind features guests who, in their own unique way, are on the leading edge of human expansion and evolution.
But first, Michael starts off each show with a Life Question of The Week from listeners and viewers where he offers practical spiritual insight and encouragement around relationships, finances, health, life purpose, or in understanding world events (you can submit your question to [email protected] ). This week, Michael answers a question from a woman who is grappling with the death of her husband from cancer, despite him living, what she believed, was an ideal spiritual and physically healthy lifestyle.
And, each episode ends with a brief guided meditation that embraces the energy and teachings of the interviews.
