Podcast Q&A
Why did you start this show?
I wanted to talk more about storytelling in tabletop ttrpgs and talk shop with other GMs because it is my obsession. The podcast has allowed me to talk to designers, GMs, PHD researchers and more! It's been a blast.
What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?
I hope that people feel like they are inspired to start their own campaign or dive into a game they have never tried before!
Which episode should someone start with?
Our first episode "Session Zero" is a solid place to start, but I also love "So It's Your First Time as a DM."
Which have been your favourite episodes so far?
I really enjoyed my chat with Michael Sands (creator of Monster of the Week) and Nat Mesnard (Teacher of interactive storytelling).
Which episode are you most proud of?
All of them! Each one is me learning how to interview and process audio better and better.
What is your vision for your show?
A place for people who love TTRPGs and boardgames to learn about the craft that goes into making them, and to get inspired to play your next big thing. We also endeavor to lift up marginalized voices within the tabletop space.
What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?
I really enjoy Heavyweight. Cathartic and beautiful
How did you come up with the name for your podcast?
I thought it was funny. I dunno.
