We wanted to have a place where we could talk about our geeky passions and our spiritual life as well. Some episodes are more geeky, some episodes are more churchy. But all episodes come from people who: Love God Love people Love story Love geek stuff

What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?

Hopefully, they enjoy themselves listening. Hopefully, it gets people thinking. Hopefully, it makes people laugh a little. Hopefully, it engages the mind and the spirit!

Which episode should someone start with?

Any episode is fine! While we have a few series within the podcast, like the seven deadly sins, you don't need to listen to things in order. There's a lot of topics! Find a movie you've seen or are thinking about seeing and listen there. Or look for a topic you find intesting. Love C.S. Lewis? Find our episodes about his novels!

How did you come up with the name for your podcast?

I know the first answer should be from the Bible verses that mention being "strangers and aliens" but honestly, while ultimately the title DOES come from the verses . . . it first came to me because I was thinking about the song by Petra that quotes those verses: "we are strangers, we are aliens, we are not of this world . . ." Paraphrasing Hebrews 11:13. But also, I mean it's about sci-fi and fantasy and Christianity! So it sounds cool, too!
