Stress, Inflammation, and the Habits That Can Change Everything
Stop Faking Fine
12/26/24 • 21 min
EP55. This episode is personal, raw, and honest. I’m sharing my story—the moment my life was split into a “before” and an “after.” It was August 31, 2013, when I laid in a hospital bed next to my husband and heard him take his last breath. He was healthy by all accounts—on paper, in the gym, and by the way he lived his life. But stress was silently working against him, and I didn’t know how deeply it was working against me, too.
I walked out of the hospital and straight into a life where I lived in nonstop fight-or-flight, trying to hold it all together for my boys while secretly dying inside. Maybe you’re there right now—juggling it all, overwhelmed, and wondering why your best efforts still leave you feeling less-than.
In this episode, I’m unpacking the four pillars of health that will take you out of fight-or-flight and into living at your best. These pillars are the foundation for managing stress, lowering inflammation, and stepping into the healthiest, happiest version of yourself.
If you’re ready for actionable tips and relatable stories that help you simplify health and start feeling better today, this episode is for you.
