At the point when their personalities and their individual needs emerge many of us learn that the one size fits all approach that we grew up with will not work with our children. We’ve had to adjust parenting styles and even to our support village so that we can safely and consistently parent the child in front of us.

I want to share where my mind is at – not too long ago, I was right where many of you are now, just beginning this incredible journey of single motherhood by choice.
