018: More Women in Tech Please!
03/24/20 • 20 min
I was invited to speak at the Women of Legal Tech Summit in Chicago, but I had to stay home because all of my four little ones got sick. This was the presentation I was waiting for all year because the content is something I'm SO passionate about: bridging the gender gap in legal tech. Because this topic is so important to me, I'm sharing my presentation with you all in this podcast episode.
Women hold only 25% of all jobs in tech, and it's up to take action and change this statistic. In this episode of She Starts Up, I'm sharing WHY we need more women in tech and HOW everyone can make a difference.
Listen as I...
- Give background on the state of the tech industry with shocking statistics about women in leadership and raising funding as a woman
- Share my story, and how I experienced adversity when starting my company as a solo female founder
- Provide tips for how women in the industry, men and businesses can all take steps to close the gender gap in legal tech
