180: Are You Assertive?
01/18/24 • 27 min
We all have a dominant interaction style when it comes to getting things we want - you either lead with withdrawn, compliant or assertive. And, they all are effective when used in the right context. If you tend to struggle with flexing that assertive muscle, that isn't a bad thing -- but it's important to know that you do have the ability to be assertive (in a way that feels authentic to you).
This episode is about identifying what level of assertiveness you lead with, and whether or not you want to dial it up or down -- and how.
Assertiveness can sometimes have a bad rap because it can be misused, but when it comes to using our voice, sharing ideas and needs, it's important to access it.
Listen in and let me know your thoughts!
