EP 38 Believe in Yourself With Sensi Graves
In this episode I had the pleasure of talking with Sensi Graves, professional kiteboarder, entrepreneur, writer, speaker and kiteboarding coach. In 2012, Sensi launched her eponymous swimwear label, Sensi Graves Bikinis, to meet the demands of her sport (after losing one too many string bikinis in the surf, she decided to tackle the job herself and design suits that actually stay on in rough conditions).
The Hood River, Oregon local also produces and leads empowering women's kiteboarding retreats and has traveled around the world as a motivational speaker.
We talked about her sustainable swimwear brand, caring for the environment, the power of water and community, relaxing into being proud of her accomplishments; being resilient and empowered, redefining failure and her passion for developing content for her community that empowers, uplifts, and inspires.
Quotes:
"You will never change the fact that being human is hard, so you must change your idea that it was ever supposed to be easy.”
― Glennon Doyle, Untamed
