Seaside Pod Review (A Queen Podcast)

There is no tumescence. There is just floppy. HEY! It's not what you think! Look, it'll make a lot more sense once you listen to the episode... Look, all I was saying was that the chef made a meal a certain way so before you start slathering it with all sorts of condiments, maybe give it a quick taste and see if what the chef did was actually pretty fucking good, OK?!?! Geez! You wouldn't go adding lines to Shakespear now would you!

If Randy were to title this episode, he'd probably call it "This song needs life support" or possibly, "That made my ears not care"

Today's episode looks at a Deacy song that was a B Side during the Miracle sessions and was resurrected during the Made In Heaven sessions. We don't know why. Your guess is as good as ours!

NOTE: Skip forward to 20:47 if wanna get straight into the manifestations and wheel spin.

The music at the end of the episode is "My Little Buttercup" from the movie "Three Amigos!" and you can find it here: https://youtu.be/T6wetejGqh0

Thanks to everyone who tuned in to the last episode and left us some comments on Facebook, and Discord! And while we're at it, come join us on Discord, we'd be glad to have you! We'll always try to answer any questions you have and seriously appreciate any corrections you make to anything we get wrong. And thanks so much for all your support as usual. We're loving diving into the Queen fandom as much as we're enjoying recording the podcasts!

Huge thanks to Corey Morrissette and Mark Camire for letting us copy and paste the format from their gold-standard podcast; And the Podcast Will Rock. You can find them at @PodcastWillRock on Twitter. Also, make sure you go check out our beautiful brothers and sisters over on the Deep Dive Podcast Network!

The increase of disorder or entropy is what distinguishes the past from the future, giving a direction to time. That’s according to noted layabout and robot impersonator Stephen Hawking. So I wouldn’t take any advice from that guy! You know who does know about time though? Brian Harold May, that’s who! Set your watches and dust off the old sundial, cos we’re talkin’ Queen!

If Kev were to title this episode, he'd probably call it “Hurry, Hurry, Hurry, Hurry”, or possibly, “You’re Dead!”

Today's episode looks at Brian's blazing rocker that everyone else hated and refused to play live; "Dead On Time", the jazziest song on Jazz!

NOTE: Skip forward to 15:15 if wanna get straight into the manifestations and wheel spin.

The music at the end of the episode is "Blame Shifter" by Randy Woods Band. You can find that here: https://youtu.be/EWoKvugRfhU

Somebody New

Well, what were the chances of that? We spun two Struts songs in a row! Kev and Randy are starting to suspect they've been duped into producing a Young and Dangerous Podcast! Also, there's a lot more talk about Kev's dental regime than you might have expected...

If Kev were to title this episode, he'd probably call it "Young and Dangerous", or possibly, "Adult and Cautious".

The ninth episode in this podcast-within-a-podcast covers another song from The Struts 2018 album, "Young and Dangerous". Two in a row!!! This week we're covering the melancholic ballad "Somebody New", courtesy of our pal Midwife Nicki. I you haven't heard it, you can find it here: https://youtu.be/ZWQ_ES92Y2c

If you want to get involved in the Kofi Klub, you can make a donation here: https://ko-fi.com/seasidepodreview and let us know which song you want us to add to the wheel! We also have a private channel in our Discord community for donors. Don't forget that all donations in the month of November will be donated to the Mercury Phoenix Trust!

This week's episode features the following songs:

Jump - Derek and Clive : https://youtu.be/TXBxpBMI0JA
