Who am I?

Ever since hearing "Pod Of Thunder" I was inspired to create my own deep dive music podcasts and from that I found a like minded group of people who had formed The Deep Dive Podcast Network. Now I host 3 shows on that network. I love music and I love talking about music with friends...that's what these shows are about. Music has always been an important part of my life and I love that I can listen to these shows and gain a whole new appreciation for music,

My Show

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?

And The Podcast Will Rock: Breaking down the Van Halen catalogue one track at a time. Back Tracks: Aerosmith Revisited: Breaking down the Aerosmith catalogue and trying to compile the Ultimate Aerosmith Mixtape. Ultimate Catalogue Clash: Each season we pick an artist and go through their catalogue album by album to determine who shall win the Ultimate Catalogue Clash.

What is my podcast playlist about?

These are some of the great deep dive podcasts out there for music and I highly recommend you check them out!

The podcasts I picked and why

1. Pod of Thunder

Why this podcast?

The recognized symbol of excellence in rock and roll podcasting! These guys were among the first and are still the best when it comes to deep dive music podcasts. They started breaking down the entire Kiss catalogue and are now working off a listeners submission list...this show is a must listen for fans of music and podcasts!

Andy Jones, Nick Jones and Chris Lathrop command you to kneel before whatever you use to listen to rock music podcasts and soak up the banter!
Since 2013, this trio of KISS fans representing multiple generations analyzed every song from the band’s catalog, selected randomly from their 1974 debut through their most recent release, Monster. Now, they’re taking on songs by any band from any rock music genre, submitted by the show’s listeners.
So hear their words and take heed as they slowly rob you of your virgin soul! Who knows – Pod of Thunder might just become your favorite rock and roll podcast (if it hasn’t already)!

Kev and Randy take to the mics once a week to talk about a song from the catalogue of the enigmatic, brilliant, and sometimes flawed rock legends Queen. Each week a song will be chosen at random so that the boys won't know what track they'll be reviewing. Kev comes into the podcast as a Queen afficionado, while Randy is a more casual fan, but has a huge wealth of knowledge about recording, performing, and music in general. At the end of each episode, both will either upvote or downvote the song and we'll take to social media to see what the listeners think!
