Remembering our ancestors in a good light is what is known as ancestral elevation and it is powerful work. In this episode, they discuss the lives of Ida. B. Wells, Fannie Lou Hamer, Bell Hooks and Angel Davis and how they used their voices and dedicated their lives to the liberation of Black people. They also take the time to discuss their work and how it has affected us now; celebrating the rich history of the resistance of Black women in the face of Racism White Supremacy. We are our ancestors wildest dreams, come celebrate their names with us.
