Bristol Running Show - various guests recorded live

This episode was recorded live at the Bristol Running Show at the Ashton Court Mansion on Saturday November 26th 2022 – it features short 2 to 3 minute clips from eight people who have a great running story to share whether they are taking on a challenge or running a business that gets people running.
The clips feature in order:

  1. John and Kelly from the Single Malt Marathoners which is a podcast that follows their marathon running activity and the occasional, or maybe more than occasional tot to help them along!
  2. Another John who is planning his first 12 hour race in 2023 and aiming to complete at least 40 miles - this is part of the Hope Trail Festival to be held in Newnham Park Plymouth July 7th to 9th 2023.
  3. Next up was Phil who came third in the East Devon Round in 2022 and is now targeting his first 100 mile event at the Cotswold Way Century in September 2023
  4. Then we had Graham McKenna from Start Running Stay Running. Graham is an ultra running coach and is planning to take on and beat the record for the fastest known time for the Welsh coast path in May/June 2023.
  5. Lucy and Laura did the first day (37 miles) of the Jurassic Coast Ultra in 2022 their first ultramarathon and Lucy is targeting the Hadrian's Wall 50 in 2024.
  6. Nairn Robertson launched Active Teams to help companies encourage their employees to be more active and to ultimately enjoy the mutual benefits of that.
  7. Edward Chapman is Trail Running Man and the record holder for the most completions of the 7 day Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon (KAEM)
  8. And finally we hear from Chris from the Bristol Running School helping people become better runners.

A big thanks to Tracy Waite from the Waite Room and Abichal Sherrington from UltraRunning World for organising the show.
