As lead pastor at C3 Church Hepburn Heights (based in Australia) with 30 years of pastoral experience, John led his church through generational renewal which helped his church grow while planting a new church every 3 years and also move to a purpose-built, multi-million dollar worship centre. In 2012 John founded “Grow a Healthy Church” and has conducted over 170 on-site and online church consults in 5 nations. Join Sarah and John as they discuss how to create safe spaces for mental health conversations in church communities, how John used his faith to find hope during his battle with depression, tips for pastors who are struggling to manage burnout, and why certain theological beliefs need to change in order to de-stigmatize mental health conditions in the church.
