Podcaster Q&A

Tell us about yourself – what is your background?

About me?! Well, I'm a Brooklyn, New York born and raised 90s baby who started podcasting in 2020 during the pandemic. I'm pretty down to earth and like simple things in life. I am a podcaster, I listen to podcasts and I have guests on the show. If you listen to the show you'll learn a lot more than I can write here in this box.

Why did you get into podcasting?

It's a funny story. I was watching this tv show called Mom with Anna Faris and Allison Janney. On the show, Anna's character has a daughter who she has a love - hate relationship with. Anyway so, the daughter, Sadie Calvano, had a podcast about the life she had with her Mom (Anna) and I thought to myself oh I could do a podcast and talk about things that I care about as well. And so I did!

How did the idea for the show come about?

When I was researching how to create a podcast, I wanted to make it something that I would enjoy. At first I had a different title in mind and I thought that would be a good one but then I remembered something a friend said to me years ago, sort of, jokingly about how I do things on my time and then it hit me. KDTime. It's all about what I choose to do on my time and my opinions. It's about me duh lol

What do you hope listeners take from the show?

I always hope that listeners take away good feelings after listening. I don't talk about controversial things a whole lot but I talk about things I find interesting and like to share that with others.

What's been the biggest challenge for you?

The biggest challenge for me is editing the episodes for sure. And I just don't have the funds to pay someone else to do it. Although it would help BIG TIME.

How can your listeners support your show?

The most I'd like from listeners is simply giving me feedback. I find that more I know about how the listeners feel then I could do a better job giving them what they'd like to hear and know about. Answers the questions on the episodes and ratings. I'm on twitter and instagram @kdtimepocast, best ways to reach out to me.

Any future plans that you'd like to share?

My future plans are to keep the podcast going for as long as I can.
