#RockStarLife: Coffee Break

Alright Darlings, grab your glitter mugs and buckle up... I got two amazing episodes coming your way with Mike Richey from Charm City Paranormal!!! For Part One, We’re spent most of it talking about Forest Haven Asylum in Laurel, MD—one of Maryland’s most haunted (and underrated) gems that I featured heavily in my art exhibition, The Paranormal Realm: Beyond the Lore—and how Mike is one of the only investigators to get inside... which you can watch on his YouTube Channel. Mike also spills about his current investigation—a wickedly haunted farmhouse on the Eastern Shore. It’s not just spooky; it’s next-level complex, as well as adventures with other haunted gems in Maryland like Glendale Hospital and Gunpowder State Park. Let's be real: Maryland is a unrated rockstar of the paranormal, with its old asylums, abandoned hospitals, and historic spirits.

We get into his roots as an urban explorer and photographer with how he leveled up these adventures into running a popular Youtube Channel. Plus, we talk his investigations into the Villisca Axe Murder House, Madison Seminary, and the Vampa Museum. Oh, and we drag unethical ghost hunters because, let’s face it, that mess ain’t cute. And because we did a mini investigation before recording, some ghost activity went down during the chat.

Maryland’s paranormal scene is underrated AF, but we’re here to put it on the map. Stay tuned for Part Two next week—it’s gonna be lit.

Season Two of #RockStarLife: Coffee Break blasts off with new episodes every Thursday—plus surprise Espresso Shots whenever the cosmos (or my caffeine levels) demand it. 🚀☕✨

Plus! The revolution needs YOU! Ethereal Anarchy: Zenobia Darling's Haunted Revolution Part 1 premiered on November 1st, capturing one of the most profound paranormal experiences I’ve ever had—documented in full, raw, reality-fabulousness. But we have more content, and filmed during the preimere, and now on a mission to make a part two, creating a first of its kind, full length paranormal documentry. Your support on our GoFundMe fuels everything from ghost-hunting gear to our fierce crew, keeping the spooky, queer vibes alive for the next chapter. Every dollar helps us push boundaries, bring the supernatural to life, and, yes—raise the dead!
Immense love to my fabulous sponsors: The Harford County Cultural Arts Board and Odyssey Salon and Day Spa in Aberdeen, MD!!!

Scared-of-my-Shadow at Pennhurst with Alisa Sickora Kleckner!!!

In this episode, I beam down in the countryside outside of Boston to chat with the brilliantly talented Alisa Sickora Kleckner, costume maker extraordinaire and the creative force behind Scared-Of-My-Shadow, her leatherwork brand specializing in hauntingly beautiful creations for haunted attractions and horror entertainment. With three of her chilling pieces featured in my art exhibition, The Paranormal Realm: Beyond the Lore, Alisa shares how her passion for the uncanny fuels her artistry.

We dive into the nature of fear and how confronting it through creative work can lead to powerful self-empowerment. Alisa opens up about her personal paranormal experiences, from growing up in a haunted 1700s home in rural Pennsylvania to the eerie encounters she’s had at Pennhurst Asylum during ParaCons. Plus, we explore the joy and connection that comes from sharing supernatural stories with loved ones.

And you know we had to talk paranormal reality TV! Alisa and I bond over our love for Adam Berry and Chip Coffey, discussing not just the entertainment but also the importance of ethical ghost hunting. We unpack how respecting spirits and the spaces they inhabit makes all the difference in paranormal investigations.

Alisa is so our people—creative, thoughtful, and absolutely amazing—and this coffee break was an unforgettable experience. Grab your mug, dim the lights, and join us for this spirited conversation! 👻✨

Paranormal Pop Culture with Mike from Charm City Paranormal!!! (Part 2)

Alright, darlings, Part Two with Mike from Charm City Paranormal is here, and we’re diving deep into the wild world of paranormal pop culture! We kick things off with a breakdown of Ghost Adventures, why Zak Bagans is so entertaining (and chaotic), and all the antics of the crew. Then, we dish on Ed and Lorraine Warren—their legacy with the latest drama involving the Conjuring House. At the end go the day, we both have respect for these people for bringing what we both do with the paranormal to the masses.

Oh, and Mike watched my paranormal documentary, Ethereal Anarchy: Zenobia Darling's Haunted Revolution, and we unpack the chaos from that investigation while I spill about some juicy unaired footage from the farmhouse investigation.

We also talk over Adam and Amy from Kindred Spirits, dissect the high drama in the paranormal content creator community (because ghosts aren’t the only drama queens), and then take a Bravo detour! Mike dishes about his 2022 guest spot on Katie Maloney’s podcast, what taping with her was like, and how Vanderpump Rules vibes with the paranormal world.

We wrap it all up with Mike’s bucket list paranormal spots, including Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, Lord Baltimore Hotel, and Rosewood Hospital in Owings Mills, Maryland.
