#RockStarLife: Coffee Break - The Godfather of Podcasting with Rich Bennett!!!

In this electrifying Season Two premiere of #RockStarLife: Coffee Break, I’m finally beaming down from my UFO after a summer hiatus to chat with a very special guest—none other than "the godfather of podcasting", Rich Bennett. Rich is the mastermind of the Conversations with Rich Bennett podcast (where I'm a co-host) and Rich is who you can thank for this podcast, as he is the one who launched me into the podcasting cosmos. Together, we have a coffee break to dive into the world of indie podcasting, working in nightlife, the super haunted Franklin Castle in Cleveland, Ohio, with other paranormal places back in Maryland, and why old-school records are the best.
And before we recorded this coffee break, we recorded an episode of Rich’s podcast with Brad Cox, from the Mouthful of Graffiti podcast, and began this chat with why Brad is the best!!! We also get into the behinds the scene tea of a Mental Health Roundtable podcast episode we did together in August 2022, where I was messy (but still journalistic) and questioned the mental health professionals present about the research into using psychedelics as a treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that didn't make the episode.

Whether you’re a die-hard podcast fan or a newbie ready to launch your own, this episode is your punk rock masterclass in making it big in the podcasting realm.

Season Two of #RockStarLife: Coffee Break blasts off with new episodes every Thursday—plus surprise Espresso Shots whenever the cosmos (or my caffeine levels) demand it. 🚀☕✨

Plus! The revolution needs YOU! Ethereal Anarchy: Zenobia Darling's Haunted Revolution Part 1 premiered on November 1st, capturing one of the most profound paranormal experiences I’ve ever had—documented in full, raw, reality-fabulousness. But we have more content, and filmed during the preimere, and now on a mission to make a part two, creating a first of its kind, full length paranormal documentry. Your support on our GoFundMe fuels everything from ghost-hunting gear to our fierce crew, keeping the spooky, queer vibes alive for the next chapter. Every dollar helps us push boundaries, bring the supernatural to life, and, yes—raise the dead!
Immense love to my fabulous sponsors: The Harford County Cultural Arts Board and Odyssey Salon and Day Spa in Aberdeen, MD!!!

#RockStarLife: Coffee Break - Naomi’s Scandals, South Africa, and the Jozi Housewives with Evita!" (Part 1)

🔥 Brace yourselves, darlings—this two-part Coffee Break is pure pop culture intellectual chaos. I’m joined by the fabulous Evita, whose life story is a globe-trotting masterpiece: born in Nigeria, raised in Johannesburg, and now thriving in Baltimore. We talked for three straight hours, so here’s Part 1 of our supersized, caffeine-fueled convo.

We kick off heavy: dissecting the ugly truths about Apartheid (it’s not over, kids—Google it or book your trip), the eerie similarities between Baltimore and Johannesburg (creative brilliance with a side of systemic nonsense), and the messy, manipulative media machine (looking at you, CNN and The View). Nancy Pelosi makes a cameo, and we unpack the brewing Real Housewives-style feud between Elon Musk and Donald Trump.

Then, we shift gears into full-on pop culture madness:
👑 Martha Stewart is crowned queen.
🕳️ Naomi Campbell’s scandal-filled rabbit hole is dark and impossible to look away from.
💥 Her iconic feud with Tyra Banks gets the roasting it deserves (Tyra’s talk show? Unhinged).
📸 America’s Next Top Model is problematic, chaotic, and endlessly meme-worthy.
🍵 We spill tea on Nicki Minaj vs. Cardi B and Nicki vs. Mariah Carey.
👋 Oprah? We’re over her. Monique? We’re stanning.
And just when you think it can’t get juicier, we wrap with a deep dive into the Real Housewives of Johannesburg and Real Housewives of Lagos: Christall Kay’s theatrics, Evodia and Mercy’s iconic mother-daughter tag team, and the pure chaos of Jozi’s first season—arguably one of the best in the Housewives universe.

⚠️ Disclaimer: This is punk-fueled, caffeine-induced gossip. Don’t take us too seriously—except when we’re worshipping Whitney Houston, Martha Stewart, and chaotic 2000s reality TV gold.

Grab your coffee, throw on some glitter, and join us for the ultimate laugh-filled ride. Part 2 drops next week—prepare yourself.

#RockStarLife: Coffee Break - Haunted Dolls, Tic Toking, RHOC, and RHOP Fall Catch Up!!!!

In this caffeinated solo espresso shot of #RockStarLife: Coffee Break, I’m serving up all drag chaos you crave! First, I dive into the playful yet intensely energetic haunted dolls from my art exhibition, The Paranormal Realm: Beyond The Lore. Inspired by Mexico City’s Island of the Dolls, these pieces come with some seriously fun paranormal energy and some of the best evidence I’ve ever encountered.

Then, we get into my latest obsession—TikTok. That’s right, I’ve officially joined the madness at @zenobiadarling! I’m dishing on some wild Tik Tok nutjobs and sharing my thoughts on Ariana Grande’s performance on SNL and Tyra Banks on the reboot of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Get ready for my upcoming ghost investigation videos because it’s about to get weird, and I’m here for it!

And of course, I couldn’t leave you without some Bravo mess. I’m dishing on RHOC and RHOP—from Tamra being a damn mess to Karen Huger reigning hott mess supreme. Trust me, there’s plenty of shade to go around.

Oh, and don’t forget to check out my guest spot on the Cosmic Theater Mystery School podcast with Megan Plummer, Elyse Welles, and Brixx, where we talk art films, paranormal vibes, and all things weird.

Grab your coffee, punks, because this episode is about to get wild! ☕👻

#RockStarLife: Coffee Break - "Gays and Davey" with Stoney Williams

"Gays and Davey" with Stoney Williams

#RockStarLife: Coffee Break

For the inaugural episode of #RockStarLife: Coffee Break, I beam down for a coffee (or beer) break with Comic, Poet, Artist, and all-around good dude Stoney Williams on his front porch three blocks away from my Havre de Grace, MD art studio. For this ridiculous hour of conversation, I made Stoney watch #RockStarLife: The Art Film, an art film I made for and is exclusively airing during my The Art of Drag art exhibition at Gallery 220 in Havre de Grace, MD that gives a behind the scenes look at drag performers. Stoney gives his critiques and comedic commentary on this glimpse behind the scenes of the amazing drag show that happens on the last Sunday of each month at the State Theater of Havre de Grace, and in true us fashion, we went off onto a whole multitude of conversations about voodoo, John Waters Movies, cats, and the cultural explosion that is bubbling up in Havre de Grace that both Stoney and I are a part of. Buckle up because this is a messy and hilarious episode.

You can catch Stoney and me every third Thursday at The State Theater in Havre de Grace doing stand-up comedy at Big Timing Comedy’s open mic night!!

#RockStarLife: Coffee Break - The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City ... EMERGENCY ESPRESSO SHOT!!!!

Tuesday’s season four finale of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was so good that after rewatching the episode three times to process it all, I had to take to the Mic in the middle of the night to do an emergency espresso shot solo episode on all of it as it was some of the best reality TV theater I have ever watched. ENJOY!!!
Remember, I am a professional drag queen stand-up comic and recorded this a little drunk at 3 am, so don't take anything I say seriously as I am talking about characters on a reality TV show!!!
Also, you can read my theater thesis on Vanderpump Rules and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills here!!!

#RockStarLife: Coffee Break - Baltimore Adventures at The Hippo and Grand Central with Cathy Till (Part Two)

For part two of this coffee break with Cathy Till, we depart from Blaze Starr and get into all about the fabulosity of queer nightlife in Baltimore with now-closed hotspots like The Hippo and Grand Central, and her and my stories from going out to this clubs. Then we dish about reality tv with some bitching about Zak Bagans, why gays ghost hunt better with Kindred Spirits, followed by gossip about The Real Housewives with why Cathy stopped watching. This is such an amazing episode and Cathy is truly an icon and queen.

#RockStarLife: Coffee Break - Dorit Smoking RHOBH Season 14 Premiere EMERGENCY ESPRESSO SHOT!!!!

Darlings, this RHOBH Season 14 premiere was so good I had to run straight to the mic— vape in hand—to QUEEN OUT about it! The drama, Dorit, the chaos... this episode had it all.

First, let’s talk about Dorit. Not only did she and PK drop the ultimate Housewives nuke—divorce announcement—but Dorit finally lit up ON CAMERA, giving us a smoking moment that took me all the way back to RHONY legends Dorinda, Tinsley, and Luann. I LIVE for a cigarette cameo; it’s raw, unfiltered, and peak aspirational mess. Dorit smoking while while driving her G-Wagon? ICONIC.

Meanwhile, Kyle Richards remains insufferable (surprise!), but Erika’s blonde is serving? Finally something to celebrate. And Sutton’s surrealist soirée? More Kylie Minogue than Salvador Dalí, but honestly, I’m here for the camp. Plus, you know I couldn’t help but drop some art history knowledge as we judge every detail, as it tells who is has brains and who doesn't.

And can we just pause for Kathy Hilton, who exists in a realm of rich eccentricity that makes even these women look relatable? Also, where is the Kim Richards drama? That chaos deserves screen time!

This premiere was EVERYTHING, and I am buzzing with opinions. Grab your Parliaments, a Gucci lighter, and let's talk about this amazing episode as the RHOBH ladies delivered!!!

#RockStarLife: Coffee Break - Wendy Williams and Vanderpump Rules ESPRESSO SHOT!!!

For this Espresso Shot episode, I take to the UFO’s mic solo to spill my thoughts on the first two episodes of Where is Wendy Williams?, and my take on what is happening with my idol. Then I dish about a wild paranormal adventure I had a few weeks ago involving me banishing the spirit of a pedophile catholic priest from a friend's basement and going to a underground punk show to see the Baltimore based band Trash Diva, than I end it with a solid 20 mins on the best show ever Vanderpump Rules, with my thoughts on this current season four episodes in and my general comedic takes and scholarly analysis. ENJOY!!
PS... I will be doing a full breakdown in the next few weeks on Wendy's new Lifetime documentary as there is a lot there, so make sure to subscribe for that!!

#RockStarLife: Coffee Break - Witchy, New Jersey-style Coffee Talk with Linnea Tober!!!!

In this thrilling fourth episode of Season Two of #RockStarLife: Coffee Break, I’m joined by the fabulous Linnea Tober, founder and co-owner of Haven at 130 Market Street in Havre de Grace—a witchy paradise for all your paranormal, metaphysical, and creative needs. We dive deep into her journey of starting Haven and embracing her identity as a witch, building a rebellious community space for magical souls—think tarot readers, paranormal seekers, and fans of campy, dark art.

Then, we conjure up Linnea’s spooky roots in New Jersey, where we chat all things Jersey Devil—yes, the legendary cryptid from the Pine Barrens gets its time in the UFO's spotlight! We also dive into Asbury Park’s ghostly vibes, before shifting gears to our very own Ghost Adventures right here in Havre de Grace. I’ll spill the tea on the first time I met Jeremiah, my ghostly bestie from The State Theater of Havre de Grace, and the unforgettable paranormal encounters that followed.

And for a special twist, we break down the eerie history and supernatural energy that makes Havre de Grace such a paranormal hotspot. From lo-fi punk rock ghost hunting to the hi-fi gear debate, we’ve got you covered. If witchcraft, ghost stories, and campy supernatural vibes are your thing, this episode is a must-listen!

Plus, make sure to check out Haven for all your witchy essentials and community events... Like my Krampus-themed paint night coming up this December.
