Who said it...
- "I used to pray that God would feed the hungry, or do this or that, but now I pray that he will guide me to do whatever I'm supposed to do, what I can do. I used to pray for answers, but now I'm praying for strength. I used to believe that prayer changes things, but now I know that prayer changes us and we change things." -Mother Teresa
- "Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you." -Saint Augustine
- "Everything to do with becoming more like the Savior is difficult...The Lord loves effort, because effort brings rewards that can’t come without it." -Russell M. Nelson
References...
- Pareto Principle
- LDS Bible Dictionary for Prayer: "As soon as we learn the true relationship in which we stand toward God (namely, God is our Father, and we are His children), then at once prayer becomes natural and instinctive on our part (Matt. 7:7–11)...Prayer is the act by which the will of the Father and the will of the child are brought into correspondence with each other. The object of prayer is not to change the will of God but to secure for ourselves and for others blessings that God is already willing to grant but that are made conditional on our asking for them."
- Jacob 7:5
- "For with God nothing shall be impossible." Luke 1:37
- "Restore Yourself. Restore Your Marriage." with Shellie Anderson

Who said it...
- "A soft, easy life is not worth living, if it impairs the fiber of brain and heart and muscle. We must dare to be great; and we must realize that greatness is the fruit of toil and sacrifice and high courage...For us is the life of action, of strenuous performance of duty; let us live in the harness, striving mightily; let us rather run the risk of wearing out than rusting out." -Teddy Roosevelt
- "I am like a … pencil in his hand. … He does the thinking. He does the writing. The pencil has nothing to do with it. The pencil has only to be allowed to be used." -Mother Teresa
- "There are people I've yet to meet who are waiting for my path to intersect with theirs, so they can complete their own journeys. I don't know who or where they are, but I know for certain that they are waiting.” -Richard Paul Evans
