Ep 10: 4 Selling Beliefs That Keep You Broke
Real Talk with Regan
10/20/21 • 29 min
Your selling mindset might be the reason why signing clients feels so hard right now. In this episode, Regan shares that the way you think about selling is just as important as actually selling. When you constantly believe that you are annoying your community, when you question if people care about your work as a coach, or when you tell yourself that you aren’t good at selling, then of course selling your high ticket offer feels like pulling teeth. Regan shares in this episode that in order to replace your 9-5 paycheck and turn yourself into a confident, selling machine, we have to slow down and figure out our belief system around selling. So many of us hold onto beliefs that are getting in the way of selling your high ticket offer and it’s time that we debunk those beliefs.
In this episode, Regan breaks down the four most common B.S. selling beliefs that she has found in the last 2 years of being a business coach. After working with coaches and service providers from all different niches, she has identified the 4 main selling beliefs that get in the way of feeling confident when it comes time for her clients to sell their offer. Regan shares what each of these beliefs look like, how they manifest into your reality, and then ways to combat and question these beliefs so that you can re-integrate new beliefs that support your sales process. Regan truly gives meaningful insight on how we can utilize our beliefs to become the most profitable and confident CEO’s within our industries.
Highlights from the episode:
- he breakdown of how negative selling beliefs impact your ability to sign consistent clients
- Why feeling like you have to be the “super fix” for your clients hinders your ability to sell
- Why does feeling annoying around selling impact your ability to pitch confidently
- Why your feeling around money being the only solution people care about gets in the way of signing more clients
- Why copy & paste sales strategies make you feel like you aren’t a “natural” when it comes to selling
- Journal prompts to investigate all of these beliefs to create new intentional, supportive thoughts around selling.

Ep 54: What Is a Lazy Girl Sales Strategy? And is it for me?
Real Talk with Regan
11/17/22 • 31 min
I am here to change the paradigm of how we build businesses, why we build our businesses, and to actually take into consideration what we want out of our day-to-day lives when it comes to building our coaching business.
Because without even knowing it, a lot of us jump into the online space with a vision that isn’t ours.
And in a perfectly innocent way, we don’t know what it actually takes to run a million-dollar business and empire.
So that is why I am here fully explain a new way of running your business.... aka implementing the Lazy Girl Sales Strategy.
Now before you stop reading because of the word lazy = bad... I promise you, you will want to know more.
What do I mean by a Lazy Girl Sales Strategy?
The Lazy Girl Sales Strategy is about slowly + steadily building your business so that you ENJOY your day-to-day life and create a PROCESS that will always get you results. AKA create cash money.
It’s about actually HONORING, HEALING, and FIGURING OUT what you want from life and making your business fit into that vision.
BECAUSE I AM SICK AND TIRED OF COACHES BURNING OUT AS THEY BUILD THEIR COACHING BUSINESS AND DREAM.
The Lazy Girl Sale Strategy means....
- You have EASE around how you create cash in your business. You don’t feel the pressure to constantly up-level. You really arrive at your next level naturally, or you can just sustain what you built because you love how it fits in your life.
- You grow your business in such a sustainable way that you don’t have to LEAVE IT or ABANDON YOURSELF as you bring your vision into the world. We actually don’t have to burn out as we grow our businesses
- You have the choice of what your business strategy actually is and how your business plays a role in your day-to-day life.
And so in this podcast episode, I break down the whole entire concept behind The Lazy Girl Sales Strategy.
By the end of the episode, you are going to have all your questions answered about if this is for you or not (or if it’s time to do something different in your business).

Overcoming the Belief 'It’s Financially Not Going to Work' as a Coach
Real Talk with Regan
10/16/24 • 25 min
In this episode, we're diving deep into a belief that holds many coaches back: the idea that "it’s financially not going to work." I’ve coached countless coaches through this struggle, and today, we’re uncovering why it happens and how to break free from it.
Why Coaches Have This Belief:
- Past Failures: Flopped launches, slow growth, or just one successful year can make you doubt your future.
- Inconsistent Profits: Not consistently profiting or feeling like clients are too few and far between.
- Resentment of 9-5 Jobs: Feeling stuck in or dreading returning to a 9-5, fueling the belief that your coaching business won’t financially take off.
The Impact of This Belief:
- Strategy Effectiveness: It taints your efforts with doubt, making it hard to commit fully to your strategy.
- Reinforcement Loop: Your brain, using the Reticular Activating System (RAS), constantly collects evidence that this belief is true, reinforcing it even more.
- Loss of Inner Power: You feel like you're at the mercy of money instead of leading your business confidently.
- Diluted Expertise: The belief clouds your capabilities, reducing your effectiveness in attracting clients and income.
Why Traditional Approaches Don’t Work:
- Many try to fix this by piling on more strategy or questioning their current one, without addressing the core issue: distrust in themselves to make it work financially. This only leads to more disappointment and evidence that it’s not going to change.
How to Shift This Belief:
- The key is mindset and identity work, not more strategies. You need to shift from doubting yourself to fully trusting in your ability to create the finances you want.
Why You Need to Prioritize This Shift:
- It’s time to stop working for free and doubting yourself.
- The real shift comes when you trust yourself to create financial success, not just chase money.
- You’ll start focusing on selling and helping your clients, which naturally brings in the finances you want.
Key Takeaways:
- Trust that your coaching business is your career for the long haul.
- Focus on serving your people, and trust that finances will follow.
- Change your belief system by collecting evidence of your success, not your failure.
Ready to shift your belief and unlock the financial success you’re after? Tune in to hear how you can make this mindset transformation!
