This is the Beginner’s Guide to Harry Potter presented to you by very novice muggles. Why? Because DeeAnn has (had) never read nor watched Harry Potter. So, we are heading back to the very first one, the 1997 Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s (Philosopher’s) Stone and the 2001 film adaption starring some pretty cute kids and legendary adults.
We hope you enjoy the fresh and very inexperienced lens we look through as we give you facts, tidbits, and opinions of this history making story.

Ready for Round 2 of the 1997 book and 2001 movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s (Philosopher’s) Stone? Scott and DeeAnn are, but remember they are novice muggles, so this is definitely coming from the beginner’s point of view. Round 2 will be all things about the first story that started it all. Join us as we talk about JK Rowling’s magical, fantastical world as well as the wonderful actors that portrayed the literary characters we have come to love, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Alan Rickman, Richard Harris, Robbie Coltrane, Maggie Smith, Fiona Shaw, just to name few.
So....feeling the weekly format, added with our “day jobs” and spring break (we are college visiting next week) we are taking next week off:). We will be back April 20th with a vengeance and a new story! Check back to see what story and we hope you have a good spring break!
