The New York Times (Podcast Groups Aren’t Just About Podcasts)
This article talks about the popularity and the need for Facebook Groups for podcasts
Facebook groups for podcasts like Crime Junkie and Shameless have tens of thousands of members
We all know that podcasting can be very lonely. We are recording in our studios with not much interaction with the outside world. Also, podcasts are consumed in isolation and there is not a comment section for interactions among listeners. This is why Facebook groups have gained popularity among podcasts listeners.

Underunderstood- On each episode the hosts find questions the internet can’t answer. It’s a part chat and a part documentary. Very good production. It’s hosted by four people, Billy, Regina, Adrian, and John. They are on the second season. But they’re first episode was on August of 2019.
Recommended this podcast by Paul Kondo via the Podcast Gumbo Newsletter.
Why pregnant people are turning their toilets seats blue,
Is captain crunch getting smaller?
What happened to the Mcflurry?
Content 10x Podcast- This podcast is for content creators who want to maximize their content creation as well as business owners who want to expand their digital presence. I highly recommend this podcast, it’s full of great tips and ideas on how to repurpose your content and publish it on different platforms successfully.
On her latest episode, Amy and her guest talk about Instagram strategies. I’m an Instagram aficionado and strategist. This is why I loved this episode.

THIS WEEK IN PODCASTING
Did you watch the iHeartRadio Podcast Awards? or have you been living under a rock with Veronica and don’t know about iHeartRadio 😂? Either way we discussed the different awards and awards winners also and Veronica makes a petition to include categories for indi podcasters. Let’s see how that goes. Also, CNN is planning the release of their new podcasts. We can only imagine the interesting content and quality. Finally, if you are still lingering with the question whether Spotify is getting stronger than Apple Podcast, Chartable has a great article about it and we discuss it a little bit.

We all know that us podcasters struggle with social media and need all the help we can get. This is why my recommendations for podcast this week are The Social Media Savvy Podcast and The Shine Online Podcast. These two podcast are so great to learn about social media and entrepreneurship.

TIP OF THE WEEK
Many people don’t know about the page that Apple has put together about marketing, although it’s pretty general stuff it can be really helpful to read through, especially if you want Apple to FEATURE you. In the article there are many tips about raising your chances. Find the article at Podcaster.Apple.com.
In addition to that, when it comes to being featured, many people don’t know that you can reach out to Apple and ask them to feature you. But very recently Apple has changed the way to reach out to the editorial department and they have put together an Apple Podcasts Promotion Request form. The link to this form isn’t a public link. To get this form you’ll have to email Apple at: [email protected]
Come and say hi to Veronica on Instagram @podsoundschool. ( she claims she responds to all her DMs , let’s see if that’s right)🧐
