The Double Tax with Victoria Morales
10/28/22 • 54 min
Victoria Morales is a first generation Puerto Rican/Honduran Latina living as a transplant on the West Coast and pursuing her ancestors’ dreams of thriving in “corporate” America. She’s been described as a fierce champion, connector, and advocate for people in underserved communities.
Currently, she serves as a Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Project Manager at Facebook. Victoria has spent the bulk of her career focused on scaling teams and programs aimed at hiring and developing diverse talent – everywhere from promising startups with just 10 employees to companies operating at scale at 50K+.
Most often, she can be found at the nearest local coffee shop, spending time exploring nature with her partner and dogs, or deep conditioning her crown of curls.
Driven by the dream that Latinos will one day soon truly belong to themselves – even in the workplace, she joins us to cover what authenticity really means to her.
