Today’s plant-based journey comes from Miranda Haes, who is a 46-year-old mother of two, stepmom to one, and married to her husband for just over 21 years. They live on a timber tree farm in SE Iowa, USA. She enjoys being in nature, walking, hiking, yoga, kayaking, camping, reading, and most of all, spending time with her husband and kiddos. Miranda works as a project coordinator for a local watershed in SE Iowa. In this episode we discuss: Finding -plant based Losing over 45 pounds Getting off all meds

John has participated in National Novel Writing Month (where you write 50k words towards a novel in 30 days) three times since 2009. He also appeared on both Jeopardy (2008) and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (2011). So we guess he's not bad at trivia! He uses his experience as a self-proclaimed trivia nerd to coach his school's academic quiz team, and he is an aspiring wellness coach. She has been plant-based for almost 11 years and teaches her community to approach the WFPB lifestyle both in mindset as well as hands-on cooking. Marjorie Leon studied with some terrific mentors, covering nutrition, physiology, habits, and mindset. She feels it is her duty to pass on the information that has helped me so much.
