Why can't we outsource our healing to someone else?
What's the role of chiropractic work and other hands-on healing? Where do we have to take ownership for our own health and wellbeing?
What's the truth about the Coronavirus and when do we go too far in trying to protect ourselves?
These are the questions Dr. Brett Jones and I sit down to discuss on this episode of the podcast.
We also talk about a simple practice you can do every day to take charge of your own healing journey.
Listen in and enjoy.

Becoming a Better Ally to Your Body
In this episode we explore a very simple question:
How can you become a better ally to your body?
In order to heal ourselves, to create TRUE strength, we need to heal our relationship with ourselves, with our bodies. We need to dismantle the hierarchy and learn to let the information and signals not just flow top-down from the mind to the body, but bottom-up, from the body to the mind.
We need to yes, learn to listen, but also to UNDERSTAND what the body is trying to tell us. To honor and trust its wisdom. To feel more deeply and connect more with our ancestral DNA.
If we want our bodies to feel good, we need to learn to listen when they whisper, not just when they are yelling.

Recovering From Fitness Burnout with Kersten Kimura
Taken too far, even a healthy pursuit like trying to get in better shape or eating healthy can become toxic.
So, where do we learn to push ourselves to constantly do more, achieve more, BE more?
How do we use overtraining to avoid difficult emotions or areas of life we’re unhappy with?
In this episode, we chat with PHD, personal trainer, and burnout recovery coach Kersten Kimura, discussing the need to examine our mindset and deeper foundations.
Kersten explains the spectrum of burnout, healing, and finally finding balance by asking the hard questions like what does my body need? What do I need right now?
Forming a healthy relationship with your body begins with self-acceptance and loving yourself NOW.
