Closing The Gap: African and African American Women Pt2
11/06/21 • 49 min
Part 2.
Ever since the colonization the African continent and the enslavement of Black People in the United States, there has been a deliberate and consistent efforts to keep African Women and African American women from connecting.
Be it the cultural differences or stereotypes seeded by propaganda that distance us, we are so much more alike than we are different. We simply need to have the conversations. Can you imagine how much more powerful we would be as Black Women, from all over the world, if African Women and African American Women closed the gap and fortified our relationships?
BWWP Host TracyMac invited Lucie Matsouaka, known for her work with the United Nations Center for Peace (Partnership with UNESCO), Founder of L’Emergence De L’Entrepreneur, an empowerment company for French speaking entrepreneurs, and two-time author, to sit in the BWWP VIP seat and have a heart-to-heart conversation sharing about just how Black Women can make that happen!
