We share one woman's pregnancy journey over 40, birth and postpartum every Monday. We laugh, cry, share a little TMI and openly talk about the ones we lost. Our mission is to help women trying to conceive believe pregnancy is possible after 40. We also celebrate and support women who are pregnant through all four trimesters and beyond. Not only is pregnancy is possible over 40, it can also be amazing! It's not too late, and we are not too old!
It's just your podcast host Jamie Massey talking to one woman about her experience and her opinions with her pregnancy over 40. While we do share what doctors have told us and medical stuff, this isn't a show for medical advise.

Before the testing was even completed, she canceled it all because it caused too much stress and anxiety. Despite the stress of fertility testing, she remained calm and peaceful throughout her pregnancy.

044. Jenna’s motherhood journey started at just 17 years old. After her fourth baby at 38, she didn’t think her family was complete. Four miscarriages later, Jenna had hope it was going to be the next one. Pregnant again at 43, she started bleeding at 9 weeks and assumed the worst. She went to the hospital to be seen about her broke hand and tailbone when an ultrasound showed a healthy growing baby. 056. Nisha, from London who is three-months postpartum is sharing her IVF journey at 43. In her 30’s she didn’t know if she wanted to have children. She asked herself in her late 30’s if she would regret not having children, and she firmly said, “yes, I would regret it.” She tried naturally to have children for a year after she got married at 41. It just didn’t happen. It took her awhile to decide if she wanted to put her body through the IVF process. With only a 2% chance of having twins, she refused to believe the two heartbeats on the ultrasound at her six-week appointment. Join us how she embraced two babies, shares her struggles and navigated a planned c-section turn vaginal birth.

055. Maria grew up in Germany but is a Spaniard that now lives in Austin, Texas. She’s always been fit and has lived an active lifestyle. For most of her life, she never thought she wanted to be a mother. At 39, something clicked that changed her mind. She shares her challenging journey to pregnancy with several failed IUI’s. Despite only having morning sickness for one day, she too had her challenges through pregnancy. Join us as she shares her journey to motherhood and the true meaning of her daughter having the life force of two. Maria is an Air Force Veteran, has a PhD in health sciences and is a college professor in fitness. She calls herself the menopause expert by helping women have a better experience through menopause.

054. This is our one-year anniversary show! I am talking about believing pregnancy is possible over 40, so we can have a better TTC experience. We are looking at how I believe, the process I go through, and a list of thoughts that have helped me. If you are pregnant, this works for believing anything. This episode has nothing to do with religion or God or faith or whatever upper power you believe. My goal is not to tell you that if you believe hard enough, you will get pregnant. Our experience getting pregnant and later pregnancy only lives in our brain.

053. Heather joins us from Canberra, Australia to share her third pregnancy at 41. She didn’t think her family was complete after her second daughter, but as the years went by, she wasn’t sure it was going to happen. Join us as she tells us how it only took one holiday to have a great third pregnancy. Her goal of the pregnancy was to never see a doctor her entire pregnancy. She also explains how food played a role in her pregnancy to control gestational diabetes, and how labor stalled after going to the birthing center.
