Podcast Q&A
Why did you start this show?
To offer quick, no-fluff tips for busy podcasters to use to improve themselves and their show(s).
What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?
Useful advice that helps them avoid making mistakes, whether they're starting a podcast or already have one. And to let them know about tools and hacks that they might not know about because they're not as "popular" as the usual recommendations.
Which episode should someone start with?
Probably episode 17, "How to Make It Super easy for Listeners to Follow Your Show". One of the most popular and frequent questions podcasters ask is how to get more listeners, and often they're struggling because they're making listeners jump through hoops to actually follow the show. This episode gives options on making that easier. https://oneminutepodcasttips.com/follow
Which have been your favourite episodes so far?
Probably ep 9, "How to Get More Podcast Reviews", that shares how to add to the amount of reviews your show gets. I had a few podcasters reach out and tell me it really helped them grow their review numbers across different apps, so that was nice to hear!
Which episode are you most proud of?
Hmm, to be honest, I like them all - they do exactly what they say on the tin, and that's to give you podcasting tips you can use in a really quick, easily bingeable format.
What is your vision for your show?
To help podcasters be the best they can, without needing to go through hours and hours of tips and advice that can often be confusing. Instead, One Minute Podcast Tips gets straight to the point with the kind of info you're looking for.
What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?
Probably The Podcast Accelerator from Mark Asquith. He's a no-BS industry vet that doesn't sugar coat the information he shares, and that ensures only the best and most useful insights are delivered each episode.
How did you come up with the name for your podcast?
Well, it's a show about podcast tips, with each actual tip lasting around a minute, so... :)
