Cure received the coveted nod for the James Beard Foundation Awards “Outstanding Bar Program,” in 2018.

In 2013, Estopinal along with Bodenheimer and Kohnke, opened Cane & Table. Which since then has been showered with praise being named one of the “Five Best New Cocktail Bars in America.” by Bon Appétit, cited as one of the best bars in America by Food & Wine, Esquire Network, Eater, and Thrillist.

We talk to Kirk about living in New Orleans and the strategies he has put in place to look after his staff and keep his businesses functioning during the 2020 events.
