#12 - Libby Bunten - “PLEASURE in TERROR and THRILL"
Neuroinclusion
03/10/21 • 50 min
I begin this episode by courageously reading from my personal diary about the day Libby inspired me to release years of body shame. We talk about the impact of one woman’s self approval and how a simple act of brave visibility can liberate many. We laugh about how alike we are in finding pleasure in things that both thrill and terrify us.
“We teach best what we need most”, says Libby, who works in feminine leadership, and is working on becoming certified as an erotic blueprint coach and Jedi Sex Master. She has a superpower of being present in intuition and “dropping right into people and seeing the real story”. Libby brings pleasure, sensuality, and flirtiness into her work and empowers other women to do the same. We spend some time crushing and swooning over our coaches Megan Jo Wilson (Rockstar Camp) and Mama Gena (School for Womanly Arts) and honor their work.
Libby is a highly accomplished independent consultant in the global online business world with Arbonne and her passion is to strengthen the lives of women in her local community and beyond. Raised in a quintessential Maine coastal town, Libby always did “whatever it took” to make a living and get the job done. Before a career in social marketing, she did everything from manual labor to freelance writing. A brief stint in a toxic, patriarchal, corporate work environment propelled Libby to pursue an MS in Clinical Psychology which ultimately led to her work in feminist leadership development with like-minded, independent and irreverent women. When she isn't cheering women on, you can find her traveling with her Hebrew Hunk, Paul, singing karaoke, or in deep surrender to the abyss that is the journey of healing.

#7 - Angela Locashio - PLEASURE “Taboos”
Neuroinclusion
02/20/21 • 38 min
This was an expansive conversation with Angela Locashio, Clinical Sexologist. She and I have the unique perspective of life in the military (Angela a current military wife, Pasha prior in her first marriage) and other constructs that hold us back from full expression of self. We talk about moving through the stress cycle to prevent illness and pain, pleasure “taboos”, and the idea that you can’t have pleasure in the bedroom if you can’t find pleasure outside of the bedroom.
Angela Locashio - Mama Pistachio - (she/her) is a Trauma-informed Educator, Certified Coach, and Clinical Sexologist who helps womxn move through stress, shame, fear, and guilt so they can reach their maximum pleasure potential in and out of the bedroom.

#16 - Laughter Through Tears
Neuroinclusion
03/23/21 • 35 min
Pasha’s first episode is raw and vulnerable. She explains why laughter through tears is her favorite emotion and her painful catalyst moment is revealed. She bravely shares details of her son’s chronic illness and how behind the scenes of the pleasure podcast is often quite messy and dark. She talks about how to sprinkle pleasure on even the hardest of days and describes her own personal pleasure practices (no, it is NOT yoga, baths, and masturbation). She shares the secret of why she was sad AND glad the pandemic happened when it did.
Pasha tells the secrets of how play and humor can make you a better leader, parent, and lover and help rejuvenate your mind and body (thus one of the best ways to make money, lose weight, and have better sex!). She explains how to learn to play with yourself and enjoy your own company...and have fun already!
From her times as a professional performer, competitive triathlete, marriage and family therapist, holistic trainer, and now midlife laughter and pleasure coach, Pasha has decades of experience healing people using creative and embodied methods. Pasha is moved to tears and laughter in this episode where she invites you into her heart and speaks directly to those of you who are hurting right now who need a unique way to access pleasure and laughter.

HANDS DOWN, my new favorite episode!
I want Meredith Steele (IG @babiesofsteele) to come to laugh and pee at my house everyday.
She's from central coastal Maine and so am I.
She likes coffee and animals and so do I.
She can't do tech and neither can I.
So, already we should be best friends, right?
But, we also share deeper connections.
We both have struggled through mental illnesses and suicidal ideation.
We both believe in releasing our truths to decrease shame.
We both get fan mail and packages.
Ok. That last part isn't true. Who wants to send me my first letter or package?
You can skip the drugs, unless they are covered in dark chocolate.
We talk about fitting in.
We talk about eyebrows and ass.
We talk about waxing and crepey labia.
So, we are pretty much girlfriends, now.
No, she's not into that, but she does know how to tell if someone is lesbian or a drug dealer by their finger nails. She's my hero.
Meredith and I laughed till we peed and snorted. I think you will too when you listen.
Actually, this is a very visual episode where you will see hair and fashion changes, petting of pussy puppets, and Meredith and I standing up with my head in her boobs, so you should grab a big Dunkin Donuts peanut butter chocolate coffee and watch it via youtube in your bathtub, but please, no toasters.
We love you and want you to shine your unique light on this world.
Please watch on youtube, subscribe, download, review....all the things. But mainly, SHARE this episode with someone who needs some healing and hilarity today.

#46 "Playing With Our Trauma" with Nina Garcia
Neuroinclusion
07/22/21 • 50 min
Nina Garcia is a DRAMA THERAPIST! That's a thing and I am so glad Nina is doing this powerful work.
Drama therapy offers a framework, a safe container to explore and express all of our emotions and traumas.
We had a fascinating conversation about being powered vs empowered. These ideas will challenge you (hooray for learning and unlearning!) Hint: We want more empowered responses:)
Nina and I talk trauma, PTSD, safety, identity, intimacy, mental health, stigma, and neurodiversity. She shares a personal story and why identity is particularly important for her to work and play with.
Nina asks "can we play with that?" when she wants people to engage in and lean in to conversation, especially difficult ones. Trauma wants us to avoid conversation that feels unsafe, so we need people like Nina more than ever.
The faster we work through our trauma, the less likely we are to experience PTSD and unnecessary suffering. We can take back our power and own our story.
I believe Nina is a brilliant and creative healer. This episode will open your heart, mind, and possibilities in the best of ways.
Nina Garcia-Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Drama Therapist and Empowerment Coach of Houston Creative Arts Therapy. She is also the host of the podcast “Triggered: Can We Play With That?”

So, I did the scary and brave thing, Y’all. I asked Kelli Tennant to be on my podcast and she said YES!
Yes, this is the same Kelli Tennant who was a college athlete and famous sports reporter who covered the Lakers and Dodgers. Yes, THE Kelli Tennant of “The Kelli Show” and the “Yes, Babe” podcast. Yes. The Kelli of the IG Pleasure Channel with 31.5K followers. Yes. The one with all the sexy, half-naked photos that make you drool. Yes. Kelli Tennant who is an Intuitive Facilitator, Reiki and Hypnosis Practitioner, Women’s Circle Facilitator, and plant medicine advocate!
Good. I am glad we got that all out of the way because all I care about is the WOMAN and the SOUL that is Kelli Tennant. I honor the woman who broke free from a lineage of toxicity and found her voice and power. I adore the woman who challenges social norms and encourages other women to create their own narrative from their evolving truth. I celebrate the woman who moved from the grief of losing her mom, dad, and puppy and slowly made her way back to self-worshipping. I want to highlight the woman who is courageous and vulnerable in sharing her stories of facing her deepest fears and accessing her deepest pleasures.
And, yes, I HAD to ask Kelli about THREESOMES and how they actually work. You’re welcome.
Actually, I had a lot of questions. Here’s some that were answered in this episode:
Can you be a “good wife” if you want to explore sex with other people?
How do you find a third, a “unicorn”, anyhow? Bumble, you say?
Can your friend be your third and would that “ruin” your friendship?
Can you be monogamous AND have a threesome? Is that monogamish?
Does it matter if I don’t know how to identify? Who do labels help anyhow?
Do you have the capacity to hold space for our fears of abandonment, grief, and sexual pleasure in the same breath? Hint: yes.
Is it possible to let go of control and simply enjoy life?
How can you surrender to asking for and receiving pleasure?
How do I practice self-worship?
What about jealousy? What about our fear of abandonment?
How do you set boundaries? How do you stick to the boundaries you set?
What if you want to change your mind?
What do you do if you are stuck in a pattern of chronic pain and illness and don’t feel sexy?
What if you keep losing people and pets and the grief makes it hard to access pleasure?
Is it normal that I always think something must be wrong because something often goes wrong, so when I can’t find anything wrong, I freak out as if there is something wrong and then I freak out because I always look for something to go wrong instead of just enjoying a single fucking moment? LOL.
This is exactly how Kelli and I conversed and laughed together. It was a blast.
Just lock the door, get naked, throw the rubber duckies aside, hop in the bathtub, and listen.
Kelli herself said “Let Pleasure be the Measure” is “an Important podcast that is fucking changing people’s lives”. Aw, shucks...and thank you, it’s true.
IG: “slide into her DM” at @kellimtennant and listen to The Kelli Show. So good!

Today’s episode is a whole-hearted conversation about trauma, infertility, and how creativity can be a surprising and pleasurable path to our healing. I certainly resonated with how creativity could feel life-saving, as my therapeutic comedy work proved more effective than decades of traditional medicine and therapy.
As a #1 bestseller author, Certified PTSD, CBT, and Fertility coach, Pantea Kalhor explains how she could conceive naturally over forty of age after over 2 years of struggling with fertility issues, unsuccessful fertility treatments, and been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. She started her research to find the root cause of her issue by learning about complementary medicine and creating a harmonic connection between mind and body. In this episode, Pantea shares stories about her PTSD and how learning to mother and nurture herself was paramount to her healing. We finish the episode with a powerful discussion about the power of visualization and manifestation.

#26 - Jeff Harry - “The Opposite of Perfection is PLAY!”
Neuroinclusion
04/13/21 • 49 min
Jeff Harry is an International Speaker & Positive Psychology Play Whisperer at Rediscover Your Play. He has worked with Google, Microsoft, Southwest Airlines, Adobe, the NFL, Amazon and Facebook, helping their staff to infuse more play into the day-to-day.
Jeff was selected by Engagedly as one of the Top 100 HR Influencers of 2020 for his organizational development work around addressing toxicity in the workplace. His playwork has been featured in the New York Times, AJ+, SoulPancake, the SF Chronicle, and CNN.
Jeff believes that we already have many of the answers we seek, and by simply unleashing our inner child, we can find our purpose and, in turn, help to create a better world.
This episode is filled with so much genius and magic, it is hard to summarize. I suggest you gift yourself the time to listen to Jeff’s brilliance and then pause the recording, allowing his words to touch your heart. SAVOR the wisdom and then INTEGRATE it into your life.
Here are the lessons I will most savor from our conversation:
Embrace positive psychology over toxic positivity.
Learn from the dying about how to live
Feel it all, the grief and the joy
All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage
FEAR: False Evidence Appearing Real
On the other side of all that fear, is all the magic
The OPPOSITE OF PLAY IS PERFECTION
Rather than looking for the right way, find YOUR way
Nobody knows what they are doing!
Savor the fact that you took a risk.
You can slow down time simply by watching more sunsets.
Play is any joyful act where you forget about time.
Stop chasing your worth. Your worth is in the moment, not in your productivity.
Notice if the way in which you celebrate is the way in which you cope.
I don’t care what you do for a living. Tell me what mischief you are making.
Adults are boring
The Jones’s are miserable, so stop trying keeping up with them.
Stay curious.
Affluent Deadness: people who are rich and famous and dead inside
Expectations are the thief of JOY
The Future is where the FUN is
FLOW: your zone of genius, your Ikagai.
Playing at work makes you 5x more productive (see Google's 20% play rule)
Yes, AND your meetings.
How to positively prime a meeting.
Meetings suck because they aren’t fun-engage and connect!
Know your staff’s languages of affirmation (public praise, gifts, money, acts of service)
Forced fun doesn’t work
How can it get any better than this?
No bad days, only bad moments that you ruminate over
Ask yourself: “How can it be better than this?”
In our lives we hear “NO”148K times and we only hear “YES” 8K times.
You are “SHOULD on” by adults all the time
A revolutionary rebellious act is saying: “this is ME!”
You do you, boo boo!

#22 - Janice Burt- ”No More Playing Small”
Neuroinclusion
04/05/21 • 38 min
Janice is one of my favorite inspirational speakers. She wears her heart on her sleeve and is so deeply in touch with her emotional body, she is often close to tears when she speaks. Janice goes directly to the places that scare her and enjoys busting through her limiting beliefs, trying radical things like working through body shame by entering a bodybuilding competition or working through her beliefs about her sense of humor by joining a comedy group.
We have a fascinating conversation about competition, comparison, people-pleasing, trauma responses, and female friendships. We laugh about how neither of us is any good at small talk, even with new friends. What is the last thing on Earth you’d want to talk about? Cool. Let’s talk about that!
Janice says to let fear rest on the sidelines, pick yourself for your own team, step up to the bat, and play your own game. When you play full out, that is fulfillment and pleasure.
No more playing small!

#7: "Midlife Women Gone Wild, Neurodivergent, and Queer and Ready to Burn Things Down"
Neuroinclusion
11/20/22 • 19 min
A spontaneous and raw solo episode packed with vulnerability and courage. This is my most personal and favorite episode yet and one that I believe will speak to midlife women who are considering "burning it all down" (systems, institutions, careers, marriages) in the name of justice, authenticity, and pleasure!
If you or someone you love has gone through deep transformation over these past years and has moved through anxiety, trauma, hormonal changes, and identity changes, this episode is for you. And if you, like me, came out recently as neurodivergent (ADHD/Autism) and queer/LGBTQIA+ and are ready to finally live OUT LOUD, aligned, and integrated, get ready to feel seen and lit up!
We ride at dawn!
