I begin this episode by courageously reading from my personal diary about the day Libby inspired me to release years of body shame. We talk about the impact of one woman’s self approval and how a simple act of brave visibility can liberate many. We laugh about how alike we are in finding pleasure in things that both thrill and terrify us.
“We teach best what we need most”, says Libby, who works in feminine leadership, and is working on becoming certified as an erotic blueprint coach and Jedi Sex Master. She has a superpower of being present in intuition and “dropping right into people and seeing the real story”. Libby brings pleasure, sensuality, and flirtiness into her work and empowers other women to do the same. We spend some time crushing and swooning over our coaches Megan Jo Wilson (Rockstar Camp) and Mama Gena (School for Womanly Arts) and honor their work.
Libby is a highly accomplished independent consultant in the global online business world with Arbonne and her passion is to strengthen the lives of women in her local community and beyond. Raised in a quintessential Maine coastal town, Libby always did “whatever it took” to make a living and get the job done. Before a career in social marketing, she did everything from manual labor to freelance writing. A brief stint in a toxic, patriarchal, corporate work environment propelled Libby to pursue an MS in Clinical Psychology which ultimately led to her work in feminist leadership development with like-minded, independent and irreverent women. When she isn't cheering women on, you can find her traveling with her Hebrew Hunk, Paul, singing karaoke, or in deep surrender to the abyss that is the journey of healing.

Neuroinclusion - #7 - Angela Locashio - PLEASURE “Taboos”
play

02/20/21 • 38 min

This was an expansive conversation with Angela Locashio, Clinical Sexologist. She and I have the unique perspective of life in the military (Angela a current military wife, Pasha prior in her first marriage) and other constructs that hold us back from full expression of self. We talk about moving through the stress cycle to prevent illness and pain, pleasure “taboos”, and the idea that you can’t have pleasure in the bedroom if you can’t find pleasure outside of the bedroom.

Angela Locashio - Mama Pistachio - (she/her) is a Trauma-informed Educator, Certified Coach, and Clinical Sexologist who helps womxn move through stress, shame, fear, and guilt so they can reach their maximum pleasure potential in and out of the bedroom.

People wanting to work with Angela should contact her directly at [email protected]

Neuroinclusion - #17: "Impact of ADHD and RSD on Relationships"
play

02/03/23 • 36 min

Pasha Marlowe, MFT, AuDHD and Neuroqueer Coach, specializes in coaching neurodivergent couples where one or both is ADHD and/or autistic. Her online program "Same Bed, Different Brains" has helped many couples move from the brink of divorce to a place of deeper understanding, acceptance, and intimacy. Pasha's coaching and teaching style is collaborative, inclusive, queer-friendly, sex and trauma informed, and often humorous.
In this "hard love" episode, Pasha reveals personal and professional insights on the impact of ADHD and RSD (Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria) on a relationship. She explores common dynamics seen in neurodivergent couples, such as the "parent-child dynamic", lying to avoid conflict and/or intimacy, fear-shame-anger spirals, and the insidious RSD cycle (trauma-people pleasing-burnout-rejection).
Pasha shares her most effective tools in managing ADHD ad RSD and reiterates that while ADHD is an explanation, not an excuse, BOTH partners have to come to the relationship with 100% effort towards understanding each other's brains.

This is not your daughter's podcast!
This one is for midlife women who have been through life's SHITASTROPHIES and have come out the other side with a sense of humor and a fierce zest for life.
Get ready to laugh about death, chronic overthinking, and wordle!
And a bonus braless dance party at the end!
Yes, you can ALWAYS watch my episodes on YouTube as well!
You are going to love Carla White! Carla is a wellness expert, a humourist (with a U since she is from Canada), and speaker. She previously worked in health care as a nurse and real life firefighter. Seriously!
Carla takes "try new things" to the next level.
She wrote and performed the one woman comedy show "Shut The F*ck Up: Confessions of An Angry Housewife".
She is the author of the best selling book "Reignite Your Spark".
And, oh, and she worked with Jack Canfield, America's leading authority on success and personal fulfillment training. In fact, Jack was the one who encouraged her to follow her passion to be a comedian.
Carla knows how to live out loud!
I asked Carla what would scare her and she said "What would scare me the most is not seeing the fear anymore. I want to be able to face the fear and do it anyway." ROAR!
We had a soulful conversation about healing with humor and how a mental health crisis was the catalyst moment that led us to comedy and how moments of our deepest grief transformed into moments of laughter. Life is a TRAUMEDY.
Please SHARE, review, and subscribe to this whole-hearted and hilarious podcast:)

Neuroinclusion - #16 - Laughter Through Tears
play

03/23/21 • 35 min

Pasha’s first episode is raw and vulnerable. She explains why laughter through tears is her favorite emotion and her painful catalyst moment is revealed. She bravely shares details of her son’s chronic illness and how behind the scenes of the pleasure podcast is often quite messy and dark. She talks about how to sprinkle pleasure on even the hardest of days and describes her own personal pleasure practices (no, it is NOT yoga, baths, and masturbation). She shares the secret of why she was sad AND glad the pandemic happened when it did.
Pasha tells the secrets of how play and humor can make you a better leader, parent, and lover and help rejuvenate your mind and body (thus one of the best ways to make money, lose weight, and have better sex!). She explains how to learn to play with yourself and enjoy your own company...and have fun already!
From her times as a professional performer, competitive triathlete, marriage and family therapist, holistic trainer, and now midlife laughter and pleasure coach, Pasha has decades of experience healing people using creative and embodied methods. Pasha is moved to tears and laughter in this episode where she invites you into her heart and speaks directly to those of you who are hurting right now who need a unique way to access pleasure and laughter.

HANDS DOWN, my new favorite episode!
I want Meredith Steele (IG @babiesofsteele) to come to laugh and pee at my house everyday.
She's from central coastal Maine and so am I.
She likes coffee and animals and so do I.
She can't do tech and neither can I.
So, already we should be best friends, right?
But, we also share deeper connections.
We both have struggled through mental illnesses and suicidal ideation.
We both believe in releasing our truths to decrease shame.
We both get fan mail and packages.
Ok. That last part isn't true. Who wants to send me my first letter or package?
You can skip the drugs, unless they are covered in dark chocolate.
We talk about fitting in.
We talk about eyebrows and ass.
We talk about waxing and crepey labia.
So, we are pretty much girlfriends, now.
No, she's not into that, but she does know how to tell if someone is lesbian or a drug dealer by their finger nails. She's my hero.
Meredith and I laughed till we peed and snorted. I think you will too when you listen.
Actually, this is a very visual episode where you will see hair and fashion changes, petting of pussy puppets, and Meredith and I standing up with my head in her boobs, so you should grab a big Dunkin Donuts peanut butter chocolate coffee and watch it via youtube in your bathtub, but please, no toasters.
We love you and want you to shine your unique light on this world.
Please watch on youtube, subscribe, download, review....all the things. But mainly, SHARE this episode with someone who needs some healing and hilarity today.

Felicia Burnett is a midlife dating and relationship coach. She helps people improve their dating skills by identifying what (and who!) they are looking for and demystify the dating process so they can get off to the right start in their next relationship—without repeating the same mistakes and patterns that have frustrated them in the past.
Felicia has been single, married, and divorced, so she has a personal and professional understanding of love and loss. She went on 100 first dates to meet her latest partner and came out realizing her own part in the damaging relationship patterns of her past.
This is an expansive conversation about dating, self awareness, bisexuality, body shame, fat-phobia, and orgasms. I was intrigued by her "3 gates" of orgasms. I had NO idea there were 3 types of orgasms...and I've only made it through gate one, so I have LOTS of work to do!
Felicia prefers to coach men, but is happy to coach anyone through breakups, dating, and a vibrant sex life.

Neuroinclusion - #53 Lucia Pavone "Somatic Sexual Healing"
play

09/12/21 • 54 min

Lucia Pavone is a pleasure instigator, permission grantor, rule breaker, international speaker, somatic sex educator and sensuality mentor. As a modern day temple priestess, she is passionate about supporting people to embody their sexuality, love their juicy bodies, free themselves from shame, heal sexual traumas and have a sex life worth bragging about.
This was an eye-opening conversation about breaking the cycles of ancestral pleasure and sexuality patterns, somatic sexual healing, womb space trauma, body scanning, larynx-cervix connection, pleasure activism, clitoral atrophy, magic mushrooms, and how to incorporate men into the pleasure conversation. Beyond issues of erectile dysfunction and confidence, Lucia works with men around their sexual energy, often using hands on sexual healing (yes, I asked lots of questions).
Most importantly, Lucia reminds us that pleasure is a self-love journey, a journey to ourselves. With or without a partner, we are whole. Oh, and "use it or lose it", so please listen, share, and then play:)

Neuroinclusion - #48 "Belong WITH, Not TO" with Tracie Jae
play

08/03/21 • 47 min

Tracie Jae is the Quiet Rebel. She believes the world can be a better place if we focus on human to human interaction. As the Lead Rebel for the Quiet Rebel, she curates authentic, grace-filled conversations centered on difficult subjects. Her current offering is a national, growing and ongoing conversation on race and culture known as the 100 Voices Project.
In this powerful episode, we talked about a WIDE variety of topics from systemic racism and equity o marriage and divorce to bubbles and pie. Despite all the hard advocacy work we need to be doing, Tracie also reminds us to "feed the happy".
I love that Tracie can talk gracefully about bubble meditations and, in the same conversation, bravely ask questions like "would I marry me?", "what is my relationship with time and money?" and (to corporations) "why are you claiming to represent diversity and equity when you still see your neighbors as 'other'?"
And then deep conversation began and I WAS CHANGED IN REAL TIME.
Tracie said "I take issue with the word belonging.
Being a black woman, I don't want to belong to anyone or anything! I would rather belong WITH."
Let that sink in and let that change you, friends.
Of course! We want to belong WITH, not TO other humans, belong WITH, not TO corporations, and belong WITH, not TO any system. Sometimes change is about shifting one word. Incremental and organic shifts matter. One word can shift how you see an entire system. For me, today, it was WITH. Know better, do better.

A spontaneous and raw solo episode packed with vulnerability and courage. This is my most personal and favorite episode yet and one that I believe will speak to midlife women who are considering "burning it all down" (systems, institutions, careers, marriages) in the name of justice, authenticity, and pleasure!
If you or someone you love has gone through deep transformation over these past years and has moved through anxiety, trauma, hormonal changes, and identity changes, this episode is for you. And if you, like me, came out recently as neurodivergent (ADHD/Autism) and queer/LGBTQIA+ and are ready to finally live OUT LOUD, aligned, and integrated, get ready to feel seen and lit up!
We ride at dawn!
