Narratives of Purpose

In my conversation today, my two guests are Gayatri Muthukrishnan and Sanjana Roa who are co-founders of Miyara, which is a digital community hub that provides support, resources and services for women who are experiencing perimenopausal and menopausal changes and are seeking direction and support with how to adjust and improve their health.

In this episode, Sanjana and Gayatri share their professional and personal experiences with women's health at the midlife stages and their thoughts on how this taboo topic is rarely spoken about - even though it’s a life change that every woman will experience.

Let’s dive into this topic.

Show notes:

Sanjana shared that her favourite book recommendation is Invisible Women by Carolyn Criado-Perez and Gayatri recommended Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg and Dear Female Founder which is edited by Lu Li.

They also shared that they would be interested in hearing from Sonali Quantius and Ira Guha on the Narratives of Purpose Podcast.

To connect with Sanjana and Gayatri you can find them both on LinkedIn.

To find out more about Miyara, you can visit their website, or connect on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Join me for today’s conversation where I will be speaking with Bart De Witte, a leading expert in digital transformation for healthcare in Europe and founder and CEO of the Hippo AI Foundation. As our world moves into the digital area, it’s the perfect time for this episode to provide you with insight, understanding and knowledge of how medical artificial intelligence can impact our ever changing world for the better.

At a young age, Bart was inspired and empowered by technology, and at the age of 18 wrote a school paper that predicted the impact of technology on the African continent and beyond. This conversation will give you a powerful insight on how working together and utilising artificial intelligence through open technologies, in the healthcare sector, can shape our world into a more equal place for our future and many generations to come.

Show notes:

Bart shared that some of his favourite books are The Surveillance Capitalism by Shoshana Zubov and The Undoing Project by Daniel Kahneman. And somebody he would love to listen to on this show is Nick Couldry from London School of Economics.
