As I navigate this midlife phase of caring for my aging parents , traveling back and forth between Southern and Northern California , I found myself deeply relying on grounding practices to maintain my balance , staying up to a week at a time with them . I make it a point when I return home to connect with nature , whether it's scheduling a day to visit the beach or taking a hike
