In this episode, Exie & Ciana are celebrating doulas everywhere for World Doula Week, March 22-28, 2022.
Recently there has been an increase in public appreciation for the work of doulas and the positive impact we can have on people during different life-changing events. We discuss some well-known and, perhaps lesser-known, ways doulas provide support.
If you are an aspiring doula, listen for some important questions you can ask when evaluating and choosing your training.
Also, the positive impact of doulas can extend beyond the obvious. Did you know that birth and postpartum doulas can help improve the maternal mental health of clients and help strengthen the foundation of families in the days and weeks of early parenthood?
