Episode 25 - The Journey of Gratitude

11/24/20 • 47 min

Medicine Wheel Podcast
Many of us express gratitude by saying “thank you” to someone who has helped us or given us a gift. However, gratitude is not just an action: it is also a positive emotion that serves a biological purpose.Being grateful is more than saying thank you. When you express gratitude, it can actually lead to a stronger sense of well-being. We learned how to ask for things and demand but not to live in a state of gratitude for what we have and for what will come.

Episode 24 - What is a Cacao Rebirth Ceremony?

The cacao rebirth ceremony is a beautiful combination and very powerful form of ritual that allows us to work in cycles of 9 months. Once you have established a connection with the cacao the ritual to enter the mother sacred womb will begin. This ritual will help you to meditate about the 9 months that you were connected to your mother.Cacao gives us clarity. It also has a powerful capacity to connect us with the creative field and it opens our voice to express ourselves with honesty. A great opportunity to die while we are still alive and to give life to a new story, the one that we initiate to rewrite.

Episode 26 - The Power of Our Voice

Many times we have heard about the power of our words, of our voice, of expressing ourselves; every thought, every word, feeling and action. But at the same time we have forgotten our power, and that we are co creators of our reality. We have disconnected from our divinity, looking for it outside of us. Energetically, our fifth chakra, our throat, has a communication function as a link between the spiritual and matter. When communication becomes harmonious we can elevate the spirit and content and transcend physical limitations of time and space. And in the Universe of Creation in general, all initiatic Cultures agree that that The Word has creative Power because ...:"The Essence of the Universe ... Is Sound" !!!We invited Joel Cross to join us in this episode to share with us the power of his voice and the magic that coherence brings into his journey. Joel Cross grew up in Cleburne, Texas, at the age of twelve he fell in love with the guitar. He was self-taught, finding inspiration in gospel, soul, classical and r&b. He is a Grammy nominated songwriter and singer. Joel currently divides his time touring with India Arie, and working on his own project connecting with nature, the essence and wisdom of his ancestors to create powerful music. I met Joel exactly 3 years ago during a healing experience retreat, and I remember how peaceful it felt to be around him and the beautiful shine he carries everywhere he goes. For this topic it was important to me to have someone who uses the power of his voice to create art, which makes him a true alchemist and one of the most beautiful voices I’ve had the pleasure to hear live.
