Do you ever say to yourself, I feel completely stuck? Stuck in a place where your goals, wants, and needs do not align with the day to day life you live? In the life of an agent, this overpowering sensation of being stuck occurs more often than not. Whether you feel trapped on a team, in a neighborhood/home, or even in your own mind, there is ALWAYS a way to get unstuck, and it starts with recognizing your comfort zone.
On this week's episode, Dustin Brohm sheds light on his own experience of feeling stuck in an environment that was detrimental to his productivity. It all came down to abundance, or lack thereof. In Dustin's case, it was his living environment that was holding him down. So, he listed his home on the market. Was it a pain in the ass? Yes, but so is staying in the same place forever.
It's impossible to operate at full capacity when your environment is holding you down. We as humans tend to let minor inconveniences hold us back from making the changes necessary to better our lives. Changing a team or moving offices sounds like a hassle on paper, but that is where we have to challenge the mind to think bigger. Growth only happens outside of the comfort zone, and facing minuscule setbacks head on will allow for growth and abundance in years to come.

Should Realtors Cut Costs or Double Down?
Should you cut costs during a recession? That's the million-dollar question quite literally. In short, the answer is yes. You should audit/cut costs during a recession only if they are the right ones. Consider this an opportunity to get your ducks in a row and become more thoughtful about your investments.
On this week's episode, Dustin Brohm throws Realtors a life preserver in hopes to save them from a mountain of headaches. Many agents that have entered the industry in the last ten years have yet to experience an actual recession, resulting in a lack of preparedness. The reality is you need to be ready to pull the plug on certain costs if you do not see a return.
Inflation is not showing any signs of slowing down soon. So, If you are frightened by this, change your perspective. Rather than "keeping your powder dry," recognize that there is less competition in a market like this. When people step back, that's when you lean in and double your spending on what is working, and cut out what is not.
