Coach Mike Sullivan put Matthew and Brady Tkachuk on the same line with Jack Eichel at the end of the second period with Team USA leading 2-1 against Finland. By the end of the game, the Tkachuk's had four goals (two apiece) on 13 shots, one assist and 10 hits between them. VGK's Eichel had a couple of assists in the game. The Tkachuk's fueled Team USA's four goal, third period outburst enroute to a 6-1 USA win. Next up is the showdown, Saturday, between USA and Canada. We will see, most likely, Adin Hill in net for Team Canada. Meanwhile, VGK listed Shea Theodore as week-to-week, meaning he won't be back for the restart of the season. We preview Saturday's games. Theodore out of Four Nations

Canada's 4-3 O.T. loss to Sweden was a costly one for VGK fans as Jon Cooper called Shea Theodore's injury a big blow. The defenseman suffered an apparent hand/wrist injury in the loss and will miss the remainder of the tournament and possibly several games down the stretch for the Golden Knights. Adrian Kempe hit Theodore against the boards but Theo was in an awkward position and might have broken his wrist or suffered another hand injury. Team Canada won the game on a Mitch Marner goal. Canada went up 3-1 in the game on a Mark Stone goal. But the Swedes battled back. Nex up, Team USA with Eichel and Hanifin, faces Finland on Thursday's docket.

Team USA came out swinging in Saturday's 4 Nations meeting against Team Canada. In fact, the puck hadn't even dropped when Matthew Tkachuk dropped his gloves against Brandon Hagel.
