Peaceful productivity sounds nice doesn’t it?

But what does it actually mean to you? If you’ve decided to commit yourself to moving towards a more peacefully productive life, you first need to have a vision of what that looks like for YOU. It’s important to notice what thoughts and patterns you have on repeat that aren’t serving you by keeping you in a fast and frenetic pattern (e.g., like saying yes to things you don’t actually have the energy, time, or resources for).

Take some time to picture a pattern of peaceful productivity in your mind before you make a specific action plan. Listen in as I describe how to create a vision that works for you!

Main points:

  • Words. Notice and write down what words describe a peaceful, productive vibe for you. What words line up with your values? Careful, intentional, on purpose? Choose also words that are NOT serving you that you can avoid - like perfection, frenetic, or overwhelmed.
  • Colors/Images. Picture a room where you could do peacefully productive work. Describe the furniture, lighting, atmosphere, smells, colors. Anything that brings your body and mind a sense of peace and alignment.
  • Music. Is there a type of music that brings you a sense of peace? What songs or instruments or genre bring you to a state of alignment, calm, or energetic? Is there different music for different activities?
  • Thoughts. Our thoughts can be a powerful force in our lives for good or bad. We have a choice. But our thoughts need constant supervision. Choose what power thoughts will help you stay in aligned peaceful productive energy.
  • Feelings. Some of our feelings move us exactly in the direction we want to go and others hold us back. Which feelings do you want driving your decisions? Some of mine are committed, determined, and resilient. You can choose!
  • Actions. Based on all that you just noticed and wrote down, what practices, small action steps or activities that line up with peaceful productivity do you want to have on repeat in your life? What do you want to say yes or no to?

What's your desired legacy? What do you want to leave behind?

On the podcast this week, Coach Kelly shares how she wants to be an extraordinary, ordinary woman. Romans 12:1-2 encourages us to use our ordinary gifts and show up in a powerful way. Every gift is worth sharing.

Here’s a powerful thought to try on: we can be extraordinary and ordinary at the same time.

In this age of social media, it can seem like our simple lives are not enough. We often question if we should be achieving more, making more money, or simply doing more. How much “more” is enough?

Small actions and small words of encouragement matter more than you think. They can create a ripple effect of positivity in the world. This week’s episode helps you recognize the importance of your unique gifts , your simple acts & words of kindness, and allows you to know that they are worth sharing.

Main points:

  • Consider the wisdom it takes to know the difference between what you can and can’t control in your life.
  • What insight do you have that's moving you forward, that's helping you notice what's important to you?
  • Believe that your gift is worth sharing.
  • Use your ordinary gifts and show up in a powerful way.

Choose Your Pace

When you notice your current stage of life, does it reflect the pace you want for yourself? If it does not align, consider an identity shift.

Practice making small mindful choices every day so you can create a more peaceful and productive life. Listen in for some practical steps on how to take control of the pace of your life!

Main points:

  • How do you label yourself? Identity is the starting point. If you see yourself as a “hot mess” or “always late”, you’ll likely continue to automatically behave that way.
  • Think long term-rather than overwhelming yourself with drastic life changes and unrealistic goals. We don't have to change everything at once, but we can take small steps daily in the right direction.
  • Choose one area to start, such as phone use, eating, or driving.

Hey friends, this week on the podcast, I'm sharing one of the important things in my group coaching program. Every season we run a seasonal series that has one big idea and then tools so that you can learn how to apply what I teach. In this season, I've noticed many people want to be in peace.
