Little by Little Homeschool - Homeschooling, Motherhood, Homemaking, Education, Family

As women, we enjoy having friendships with one another. And as a homeschool mom, there is something extra sweet about friendships with other homeschooling moms.

It doesn't usually happen overnight though. And it can take quite a bit of intentionality to even find "your people." But once you do...it's an amazing feeling.

I want to share with you the importance of making friendships with other homeschool moms. And how to find other moms to connect with if this is an area that you'd like to grow in.

Grab that load of laundry that needs folding and give this episode a listen! I'm looking forward to hearing about how it helps you create some friendships.

181. Gentle Learning While Homeschooling the Younger Years with Lyndsey Mimnagh of Treehouse Schoolhouse

You've heard it being talked about in homeschool circles. But wonder what it actually looks like. And how it could translate into your home.

Today, I am joined by Lyndsey Mimnagh of Treehouse Schoolhouse, to discuss gentle learning while you homeschool the younger years.

Lyndsey is a homeschool mom of four children. Before motherhood, she had a career in children's ministry and special needs education. Her home education centers around living books and ideas, hands-on learning, nature exploration, and biblical discipleship.

In this podcast episode, we dive into creating an atmosphere within your home that will help your children develop a love of learning.

I invite you to curl up with your favorite cozy drink and a notebook and get ready to be inspired and encouraged.

But just know, that even on difficult days or tough seasons, you've made this decision to homeschool for many reasons. And one of those may include what you are keeping them from.

That's the topic of this episode: what they are "missing" out on. I think you'll see yourself in many of these examples.

I'm cutting straight to the chase today with the intention of solidifying your homeschool decision. I hope it inspires and encourages you...and maybe lights a little fire under you too!
